These high quality parabolic mirrors are made from BK7 quality optical glass. Classified as "diffraction limited" (ie: meets or surpasses 1/4th wave RMS).
The mirror has an aluminium reflective coating, reflectivity is approximately 91%. The aluminium coating is protected by a properly applied protective coating (SiO2).
