University of Sydney

University of Sydney

In 2017, Bintel installed a Software Bisque MyT mount and a Bintel RC telescope on the rooftop of Sydney University. The installation required craning the dome into position to complete the observatory setup. In 2025 Bintel also completed works on upgrading the ME II to the new series 6 board. allowing this telescope to have a new lease of life.

Bintel flew from Sydney to Karratha, WA to service and optimise a Software Bisque MyT telescope system. We completed a full service, re-polar aligned the mount, and conducted system testing to ensure peak performance.
