Yes. Every recognised Australian educational institution automatically qualifies for academic pricing and volume discounts. Contact our STEM team with your project details and we will prepare a quote.
Which telescope is best for a school?
It depends on your students and how you plan to use it. For classroom and astronomy club use, a sturdy beginner or computerised GoTo telescope is usually the best fit. Our specialists will recommend the right option for your space and budget.
Can Bintel install a telescope or observatory at our school or university?
Yes. We deliver, install and commission complete systems on site, anywhere in Australia. We have installed school observatories and university rooftop observatories, and can handle everything from a single telescope to a full facility.
Do you supply microscopes and other science equipment for schools?
Yes. Alongside telescopes we supply microscopes, binoculars, cameras and a wide range of optical and scientific instruments for school and university science programs.
Do you deliver to schools and universities across Australia?
We ship from Sydney to every state and territory. For larger projects we also offer on-site delivery and installation.
Can you service or repair an existing school telescope?
Yes. We service, align and repair telescopes and mounts, including systems we did not originally supply. Our team has travelled interstate to restore school and university telescopes to peak performance.
Do you provide training for teachers and students?
Yes. We provide hands-on training and onboarding so your staff and students can use the equipment confidently from the start.
