AP equatorial mount

The Advanced Polaris mount is ideally suited for beginners learning to use an equatorial mount, as well as for experienced observers seeking a simple, grab-and-go solution. The AP mount securely supports your telescope's optical tube, providing stable and comfortable observing. Its friction control system allows you to quickly and smoothly move the mount to your target object. A wide selection of optional accessories is available to customize the AP mount to meet your observing needs.

Stylish design
The new stylish and smart design helps dispel the complex and bulky image often associated with astronomical telescopes. Weighing just 3.6 kg (without the counterweight), the lightweight body makes it easy to handle even full-scale telescopes. The power supply runs on four AA batteries integrated inside the body, and the use of internal electrical contacts successfully eliminates external wiring that was previously exposed.
-
Friction control system

Simply point the telescope at your target by moving the optical tube by hand. The friction control system lets you smoothly aim the telescope without using knobs or clamps.
-
Simple polar alignment

The optional Polar Meter can be attached to the equatorial mount for easy polar alignment. Even beginners can quickly align the polar axis using it. While a polar axis scope is typically used for precise alignment, the Polar Meter performs especially well in situations where Polaris is not visible.
-
Polar alignment scope PF-L

The PF-L polar alignment scope features a three-star alignment system and a built-in dark field illuminator, allowing you to perform polar alignment while looking through the scope. The illumination automatically powers off to prevent unnecessary battery drain.
To complement the PF-L, we provide a free app called "PFL Assist" for smartphones and tablets, which supports polar alignment by visualizing the correct star positions within the displayed constellation.

A81M refractor

A standard refractor for a variety of purposes using achromatic lens.

APP-TL130 tripod

The compact APP-TL130 tripod is adjustable from 60 cm to 130 cm, combining the portability of a photographic tripod with the strength of an astronomical telescope tripod. The tripod feet can be switched between rubber pads and metal spikes, preventing damage to floors when used indoors.
