The ULTRAVID 8X20 are brighter, sharper, more compact, more functional and robust than previous binoculars of this lens size.
There is no question that these compacts are true Ultravid-class. Almost all the Ultravid-elements that the developers could miniaturize found there way into these "mini-binoculars" which fit comfortably into almost any pocket.
The use of aspherical lenses offers the observer a sharp image right to the edge without color fringing and because of the short close-up distance these little Ultravids bring close up things even closer.
The 25mm and 20mm BR binoculars live up to the name "Ultravid" in the case robustness too: because a new developed vulcanization method ensures that the rubber armoring is inseparable from the metal housing even in the harshest conditions. Their robustness is further evidenced by being guaranteed watertight up to 5 m (16.5ft)and nitrogen filled to prevent fogging. They also come with high quality accessories.
The ULTRAVID 8X20 BR series come in shock-absorbing black rubber coating but also available is the Ultravid BL series in a noble black leather. This leather design gives the binoculars a classic elegance and guarantees a long life.
Includes a woven carrying strap, eyepiece cover, Cordura case with belt loop.

LEICA ULTRAVID 10x25
PIN-SHARP PERFORMER
Unequalled in size and resolution power
The Leica Ultravid BR binoculars stand for an extremely high level of optical and mechanical performance. They are brighter, sharper and more compact than many other binoculars in this lens diameter.
Excellent components for pin-sharp viewing
The elements of the larger Ultravids have been reduced to fit these compact binoculars. Thus, they offer the same resolution and sharpness and let you enjoy a wide, detailed view without colour fringing.
High-contrast and brilliant images in any situation
The Leica Ultravid BR models offer outstanding suppression of stray light. They grant crystal-clear viewing, allowing you to detect even the faintest objects.

Leica Camera AG, Wetzlar, presents a new generation of the Leica ULTRAVID 10x42 binoculars. The prisms of the new binoculars are made from specially formulated SCHOTT glasses with exceptional transmission characteristics. The significantly increased light transmission, particularly in the blue-violet band, ensures not only higher image brightness, but also better color transmission and considerably improved twilight vision.
In addition to a brighter viewing image, the Leica ULTRAVID 10x42 HD-Plus binoculars also offer increased contrast performance in all viewing situations, and particularly in unfavorable light.
