Looking for Astrophotography Camera Adapters and Extensions? BINTEL has a wide assortment of connectors, adaptors and other assorted gizmos to attach and securely connect your DSRL camera or dedicated astronomy camera to your telescope or spotting scope.
BINTEL's experts can also help with correct back spacing and connector types to help take the hassles out of astrophotography and let you concentrate on capturing the wonders of the night sky above our heads in Australia and New Zealand.
Remove the lens from your camera and attach the T-ring in its place. Since the T-ring is camera-brand specific, it will snap right on just like a lens. Next, remove the diagonal and visual back from the rear cell of your telescope. Screw the Celestron T-Adapter onto the rear cell threads until secure. Now, thread the T-ring & camera onto the T-Adapter. That’s all there is to it. The camera is now using your telescope as a giant telephoto lens. The magnification will depend on the telescope’s focal length. For instance, a 300 mm camera lens is considered to be pretty powerful, right? Well, if you are using an 8” SCT at prime focus, you’ve got yourself a 2000 mm lens with a lot of light-gathering capability!
Prime focus photography is popular for short exposure images of terrestrial objects as well as celestial objects like the Moon. If you want to do longer exposures of deep sky objects with this method, we suggest using a separate guidescope or off-axis guider and an equatorial mount.

The 1.25" Universal Camera Adapter allows you to attach a camera body to reflector and refractor telescopes for either prime-focus or eyepiece-projection photography.
This adapter is made up of two detachable parts:
a prime-focus adapter (nose cone type t-adapter) for prime-focus photography
a fixed-length extension tube for eyepiece-projection photography. A thumbscrew in the extension tube holds the telescope eyepiece in place.
Fits reflector and refractor telescopes with 1.25" telescope eyepiece holders.
The Bintel 1.25" Camera Adapter is precision made of black-anodized aluminum and is compatible with 1.25" telescope focusers and many 1.25" telescope eyepieces (some eyepieces have housing diameters that are too large to fit inside the adapter). The barrel of the adapter is threaded for filters.
With T-Threads on each end it can be used as a spacer on some scopes.
A T-ring for your specific camera model (sold separately) is required to couple your camera body to the universal adapter.
Bintel T-Thread Spacer Ring Set allows you to adjust the spacing between standard M42 equipped accessories and CCD / DSLR cameras.
The Bintel T-Thread Spacer Ring Set includes 4 parts:
5mm spacer
10mm spacer
20mm spacer
30mm spacer
Variable t-thread spacer and locking ring
Be sure to get exact spacing correct with the Bintel T-Thread SpacerSet
Made from black anodized aluminium and top quality machining on the threads.
Each adapter has male T2 thread to female T2 thread as used by most popular imaging accessories such as filter wheels, off axis guiders, focal reducers, field flatteners and so on.
This sturdy aluminum T-Adapter is the accessory of choice if you’d like to attach an SLR or DSLR camera to the smaller rear cell threads of a Celestron NexStar 4SE telescope or C90 spotting scope for prime focus photography.
To get started, you’ll need the appropriate T-Ring for your camera body. Remove the lens from your camera and attach the T-ring in its place. Since the T-ring is camera-brand specific, it will snap right on just like a lens. Next, remove any accessories from the rear cell of your telescope.
Screw the Celestron NexStar 4SE T-Adapter onto the rear cell threads until secure. Now, thread the T-ring & camera onto the T-Adapter. That’s all there is to it. The camera is now using your telescope as a telephoto lens.

A T-ring is used to connect your DSLR camera to a telescope.
Select the T-Ring which matches your camera type in much the same way you need to get the correct lens to attach to it. (Nikon, Canon EOS, Sony etc)
This BINTEL T-Ring is for Nikon DSLR camera bodies.
One end of the T-Ring connects to your camera body in place of the lens and the other end connects to the telescope. Some telescopes may already have a "T-thread" connector while others may require a camera connector.
BINTEL can help with the best way to attach a camera to your telescope.

To achieve the best astroimages, it is important to attain the proper back-focus distance for your camera relative to the telescope it is being used with. If the back-focus distance your camera consumes is not exact, the performance at the corners of full frame imaging sensors will suffer—stars will appear elongated and not as pinpoints.
Example: RASA 8 with a ZWO ASI 183 MC PRO camera
Required back-focus distance for RASA 8 with included M42 camera adapter: 25mm
Back-focus consumed by ZWO ASI 183 MC PRO camera: 17.5mm
To achieve equal back-focus distance, a 7.5mm M42 spacer ring is required
Celestron’s M42 Spacer Ring kit includes three different length spacer rings to achieve the proper back-focus distance with our popular Celestron optical tubes and T-thread camera adapters.
How to Use
Depending your method of astrophotography (DSLR or CCD/CMOS), there are two ways to use the M42 Spacer Ring. If you are using a DSLR, place the desired M42 Spacer Ring between your T-Ring and your T-Adapter for your optical tube. If you are using a CCD or CMOS camera, place the desired M42 Spacer Ring between the camera and the T-Adapter for your optical tube.
Below is a quick guide to help you determine which spacer ring to use for our EdgeHD, Schmidt-Cassegrain, and RASA 8 optical tubes:
Spacer Ring Size:
Works best with:
7.5mm
Provides proper spacing with RASA 8 for many ZWO cameras
12mm
Provides proper spacing with RASA 8 for many Atik cameras
30mm
Converts ZWO camera w/filter slider to 55mm back-focus standard for use with Schmidt-Cassegrain & EdgeHD

The Tele Vue EBX-2120 2" Eyepiece Barrel Extender increases backfocus distance and provides a mounting location for 2" (48mm) eyepiece filters. It can also help parfocalize eyepiece sets. Extender adds 1.2-inches to the 2" barrel.
Ethos
Models with dual 2" / 1¼" barrels can use the extender.
12mm Nagler Type-4
The EBX-2120 makes the 12mm approximately parfocal with the 17mm and 22mm Nagler Type-4 eyepieces when used in a Tele Vue 2" diagonal.
55mm Plössl
Because the field stop is located near the bottom of the chrome eyepiece barrel, you will need to rack your focuser out further, relative to most other eyepieces. If you find that you cannot rack your focuser out enough to achieve focus, Tele Vue strongly recommend you purchase the EBX-2120. This will make Tele Vue's 55mm Plössl eyepiece approximately parfocal with the Tele Vue 27mm Panoptic eyepiece.

This T-Ring fits EOS M-mount mirrorless cameras only. It will not work with other Canon camera bodies like the EOS RF-mount or EOS EF-mount model cameras without adding a Canon adapter to convert those cameras to M-mount.
A T-Ring is one of the first accessories you will need to take pictures through a telescope or spotting scope. If you have a Canon EOS mirrorless camera body, the Celestron EOS M-Mount T-Ring is the one for you.
How to Use
To use this T-Ring, place the M-Mount T-Ring on your Canon mirrorless camera. Just like changing a lens, line up the T-Ring to your camera’s lens mount. Push it in and turn until you hear a click. The T-Ring has a sturdy bayonet flange that locks for a secure fit. Once you attach the T-Ring to your camera, you’re ready to connect your telescope. The telescope side of the T-Ring has threads that accept a variety of camera adapters, including the Celestron T-Adapter. The adapter you choose depends on the type of photography you wish to do.

"Flat-top" model
A flat-top model allows closer placement of the eyepiece. Use with Newtonian reflectors, Tele Vue Paracorr, 2" Powermate, and 2" Big Barlow.
These adapters allows use of 1¼" eyepieces in any 2" focuser or diagonal.
All models feature brass clamp ring or nylon-tipped set screw for secure, no-mar locking and safety undercut.
Note: We purposely do not put 2" filter threads in 2" to 1¼" adapters. The reason is to avoid your getting upset when you insert a 1¼" Barlow and it crunches your expensive 2" filter. Safety first.
