Bintel T-Thread Spacer Ring Set allows you to adjust the spacing between standard M42 equipped accessories and CCD / DSLR cameras.
The Bintel T-Thread Spacer Ring Set includes 4 parts:
- 5mm spacer
- 10mm spacer
- 20mm spacer
- 30mm spacer
- Variable t-thread spacer and locking ring
Be sure to get exact spacing correct with the Bintel T-Thread SpacerSet
Made from black anodized aluminium and top quality machining on the threads.
Each adapter has male T2 thread to female T2 thread as used by most popular imaging accessories such as filter wheels, off axis guiders, focal reducers, field flatteners and so on.
M42 x 0.75 pitch
A T-Ring is one of the first accessories you will need if you want to take pictures through a telescope or spotting scope. If you have a Canon EOS camera body, the Celestron EOS T-Ring is the one for you.
To use the Canon EOS T-Ring, remove the lens from your camera, and attach the T-Ring in its place, just as you would if you were mounting a lens. The telescope side of the T-Ring has threads that will accept a variety of camera adapters, including the Celestron T-Adapter or Tele-Extender. The adapter you choose depends on the type of photography you wish to do.
You can take pictures of terrestrial and/or celestial scenes by using a simple T-Adapter to turn your telescope or spotting scope into a large telephoto lens. The #93633-A T-Adapter is the best choice if you own a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with standard rear cell threads. If you have a refractor or spotting scope, the Universal T-Adapter (#93625), with its 1.25” barrel insert, is probably the best choice. There are also special T-Adapters for the EdgeHD optical system: one for the 8-inch EdgeHD (#93644) and one for the 9.25, 11, and 14-inch EdgeHD (#93646).
Prime focus photography is popular for short exposure images of terrestrial objects as well as celestial objects like the Moon.
If you need extra magnification beyond that which your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope provides, a Tele-Extender (#93643) will allow you to insert an eyepiece inside the barrel before attaching it to the telescope. A Tele-Extender is used most often for high power images of the Moon and the planets.

The Celestron Focus Motor for SCT & EdgeHD provides electronic focusing for Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) and EdgeHD telescope optical tubes. With the focus motor installed, you can bring celestial objects into sharp, precise focus using your telescope’s hand controller or a computer instead of using the focuser knob. A focus motor is great for visual observers who want to dial in exact focus (especially those with dexterity issues) and a must-have accessory for astroimagers. With a motorized focuser installed, an astroimager no longer needs to be physically near the telescope to focus an image. Combined with computerized control of the mount and camera, the focus motor enables the imager to gather data remotely from a backyard observatory, or even a telescope located hundreds of miles away. As an added bonus, port covers protect the ports while not in use, and the covers cannot be lost due to the tethered design.
Compatible Optical Tubes
The focus motor is compatible with all SCTs from 6” to 14” in aperture that have been produced since the year 2006. It is not compatible with 5” SCTs or older models. It is compatible with all EdgeHD optical tubes, the 8” Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA), the 36cm RASA, and the 7” Maksutov-Cassegrain. It can also be used with the 11” RASA, but requires the Focuser Retrofit Kit for RASA 11.
Power Options
There are three options for powering your Celestron Focus Motor:
- When using a Celestron computerized mount, you can power and control the focus motor through the mount using the supplied AUX cable. This allows control from the mount’s hand controller (NexStar+ or StarSense) or a computer.
- If you are not using a Celestron mount, you can power and control the focus motor from a computer USB port. You will need a user supplied USB A-to-B cable.
- You may also opt to use an external 12V DC power source which plugs into the motor’s power jack.
Compatible Software
Celestron offers a free Focuser Utility program for computer control. The Celestron PWI software can also control the focus motor. To use third-party focuser control software, an ASCOM driver is needed.

New Improved from ZWO-OAG-L ZWO-OAG-L is the latest iteration of M68 OAG with a larger prism size of 12mm x 12mm. The bigger clear aperture brings wider field of view in guiding. It is easy to use, and suitable for users who are interested in long focal length photography. To take the most advantage of it, we recommend you to match it with large format guiding cameras. Features: 1. Lightweight and exquisite, 17.5mm thickness. 2. Prism size: 12mm x 12mm. 3. The effective light-passing aperture is 11.7mm x 8.3mm. 4. Can be used to connect the main camera and guide camera simultaneously. No guide telescope required. 5. Packaged with an M48 sensor tilt plate (5mm). Operating Guide: 1. For guiding, OAG-L can only work with ASI Mini cameras like ASI174MM Mini, ASI290MM Mini and ASI120MM Mini. 2. Considering the large prism size, we don’t recommend you use OAG-L with telescopes whose clear aperture is smaller than M48. 3. Yet it is recommended to use with 2” EFW or 7x36mm EFW, and with APS-C cameras (ASI2600) or full frame cameras (ASI6200/2400). The large clear aperture supports full frame cameras without vignetting. 4. The major differences between ZWO-OAG-L and M68 OAG are about the prism size and the threads. ZWO-OAG-L removed the inner threads so you can directly use the screws to connect it to other equipment. 5. If the thread of your telescope side is M48, then you don’t need to remove the M48 sensor tilt plate coming with ZWO-OAG-L. On the contrary, you need to remove it and use some other sensor tilt plate at the corresponding thread of your telescope. The pictures below show how to remove the sensor tilt plate: OAG-L Mechanical Drawing OAG-L & OAG-L-68 Mechanical Drawing Connection Guide: Please Note: While adding ZWO-OAG-L into your optical train, please make sure the prism won’t block the camera sensor. You can use the guiding screw to adjust the guiding camera’s focus length. Please make sure the distance from the prism to the main camera and to the guide camera are the same. To ensure the result, it is better to do this in the daytime for the adjustment will be very difficult at night.

If you are already using a computer in your observatory for other reasons, this provides a way for you to focus your telescope without fumbling around in the dark for the focuser handcontroller. It works best with 5V focus motors such as the newer style JMI Motofocus, but can also work with 9V or 12V motors. Motors requiring up to 100mA of current will work with the FCUSB. To date, the FCUSB has been tested with the JMI Motofocus, Moonlite DC motorized focusers, Orion AccuFocus, Meade 1209, Televue Focusmate Driver, and WalterLee heliFocus. The FCUSB also eliminates the need for a battery to run your focuser, since the motor is now powered directly from the USB port of your computer. Using the free FocusPal software, you can control the speed and direction of your motor with just mouse clicks! For further information, please read through the FCUSB User Manual Third-party software that supports the ASCOM Focuser standard will also work with the FCUSB using the FCUSB ASCOM driver. DC focus motors don't provide absolute positioning repeatability like a stepper motor does, but we have tried the FCUSB with third-party autofocusing software and obtained decent results.

The Shoestring USB Guide Port Interface adapter plugs directly into a USB port on your computer or a USB hub attached to your computer. Using an RJ-12 cable, the adapter connects to the guide port of your telescope mount. This guide port interface uses optocouplers to electrically isolate the computer from the telescope, eliminating a possible source of electrical interference. This interface adapter requires no external power source since it receives its power via the USB cable.
Thanks to webcam technology, it is now easy and much less expensive to set up your own autoguiding system. You'll need a PC or laptop computer, a webcam or other video device, autoguiding software, and some sort of interface so that the computer can talk to your telescope mount and direct it's motion. Of course, you will also need a telescope mount that is capable of receiving tracking correction commands. To use our products shown below, your mount will need an ST-4 compatible guide port.
