Losmandy VUP4 is designed to work with any mount that uses the 46mm Vixen Style Saddle.
The Dovetail Plates are the heart of the Losmandy Secondary System. The VUP series of dovetail plates are all 15mm thick x 43mm wide x the length of the selected plate (102mm - 355mm).
These dovetail plates and accessories are the same dimensions as the Vixen type dovetail. Vixen style dovetail bars may be mounted to the top and bottom of tube assembly for mounting of all V series accessories, making it possible to use both sides of tube for equipment. The unthreaded holes and slots are countersunk on the underside to hold socket head machine screws.
The dovetail plates, like all accessories in the Losmandy line, are machined for lightness and rigidity from aluminium stock, then black anodized for a tough, corrosion free surface.
VUP 4, VUP 7, VUP 11 and VUP 14 are designed to be used with tube rings / clamshell rings supplied with your telescope.
