Easy way to add EQ or Equatorial Mode to your ZWO Seestar or DWARF Smart Telescope
Smart Telescopes have changed the way astro images are captured over the last few years. Two of the largest selling brands, ZWO Seestar and DWARF, now offer an additional mode to their standard ALT-AZ or up/down, left and right automatic tracking.
EQ or Equatorial mode aligns with south celestial pole enables them to take longer exposures and sharper images. This basically means tilting the Smart Telescope to your latitude and pointing the mount directly south.
The Saxon Equatorial Wedge quickly and easily allows you to position your Smart Telescope on top on a tripod to enable EQ mode. Equipped with fine adjustment knobs on both the azimuth and latitude axes, the EQ Wedge makes quick and easy adjustments without the need to reposition your tripod. This level of control ensures precise alignment for reliable tracking.
