Full-Pixel Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) locks on instantly and stays locked. Gesture control with palm and V-sign recognition works from 0.5 to 5 metres at 1x zoom, extending to 7 metres at 2x zoom, so you can start and stop recording hands-free.
