The reducer (7880) reduces the focal length from 250mm to 200mm, brightens the aperture from f/4.5 to f/3.6, and improves image quality from corner to corner, including coma aberrations and light fall-off performance.

Great performance is achieved by incorporating Canon Optron, Inc. fluorite glass elements in the optical construction. The precise built quality results in an extremely sharp image with less chromatic aberrations compared to low dispersion (ED) lenses.

You can convert this tele lens to a telescope by attaching a BORG telescope prism and eyepiece (sold separately).
