Celestron Advanced VX Mount - Performance + Portability
Now with V-style and D-style mounting.
Engineered from the ground up with astroimaging in mind, the Celestron Advanced VX mount provides you with many of the features found on Celestron’s most sophisticated German equatorial mounts, at an extremely affordable price.
The Advanced VX mount was specifically designed to provide optimum imaging performance for smaller telescopes. Now your smaller telescope can take advantage of All-Star Polar Alignment and autoguider support. You’ll be able to track through long exposures using permanently programmable periodic error correction. Image across the meridian without doing a meridian flip, so you can seamlessly image the best part of night sky. Advanced VX features significantly larger base castings than our previous design, improving stability under heavier loads. Improved motors offer more torque and can handle slight load imbalances with ease.
Experienced imagers will love taking this portable mount to a dark sky site, with all the performance of their larger observatory mount. Or, if you’re new to imaging, this mount will help you get started with the hobby and keep up with your needs for years to come.
- Holds a maximum instrument capacity of 13.6kg
- Integer gear ratios and permanently programmable Periodic Error Correction eliminates recurring track errors from the worm gear.
- Motors offer improved tracking performance & provide more power to overcome load imbalances
- Updated industrial design offers more rigidity, less flexure and improved aesthetics
- Design allows viewing or imaging across the meridian without interference from the motors housings
- Improved latitude range. Can be used between 7 – 77 degrees latitude.
- Improved electronics with increased memory for future expansion
- NexStar+ hand control offers multiple language programming (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish)

Sky-Watcher EQ5 Pro GOTO Mount
The Sky-Watcher EQ5 Pro GOTO Mount is an EQ5 mount equipped with GoTo capabilities. It has the same type of computerized features found on the heavier HEQ5 and EQ6 Pro mounts. It includes the proprietary SynScan GoTo system; the massive database of celestial object locations and automated alignment functions.
Accurate Automated Slewing
Software and hardware work together to produce the most precise movements possible. Precision crafted gears and motor drive are controlled by the software functions on board the hand controller. The software has built-in error correction to compensate for gears wearing out and other internal factors that affect accuracy.
Enhanced Stargazing Experience
Once the mount is assembled, you only need to complete the alignment process to start viewing. Automatically point your telescope to the different celestial objects stored in the database at the touch of a button. The user-friendly menu allows even the novice users to access the different features of the system. The upgrades lets you spend more time viewing and less time searching for your chosen celestial objects.

Like their predecessors, the CEM26 is designed with portability in mind, weighing in at only 4.5kg it can support up to a 12kg payload an incredible 2.6 mount weight to payload ratio. The key to enable such ratios is the CEM design focuses the mount and payload weight directly on the center of the tripod rendering “natural stability”.
Building on the legacy of earlier CEM models we have added features for convenience and functionality. A positive lock gear engagement system (easy to use even when wearing gloves), Built-in Wi-Fi enabling unparallel connectivity and recordable permanent periodic error correction (PPEC) to repeat optimal PEC training sessions. Regarding functionality the CEM26 delivers precise pointing and accurate tracking. The CEM26 sets the new standard for compact equatorial mounts.
The center-balanced design mount puts the weight of the payload at the center of gravity allowing for greater natural stability. Other features include an adjustable counterweight bar to prevent obstruction with the tripod. And polar aligning is quick and accessible all the time since the polar scope is not blocked by the declination shaft.
The CEM26 is equipped with the latest advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO technology, making it one of the most powerful and accurate GOTO mounts available. Its database includes over 212,000+ objects. The Go2Nova® Hand Controller is intuitive to use and its large 4-line LCD screen simplifies the process of setting telescopes and locating objects.
The CEM26A mount has an integrated electronic polar finder scope known as the iPolar. This tool ensures the accurate alignment of a telescope, even when the pole star is obscured. It comes with a 1.5" heavy duty stainless steel tripod and an aluminum carrying case.

Losmandy GM8 G
If you are looking for an equatorial mount for imaging for your 8" SCT , Refractor or up to an 8" Newtonian, with smooth operation, minimal PEC and looks like a million dollars without costing a million dollars then this is the mount for you.
Scott Losmandy has been manufacturing high quality, precision German Equatorial mounts for nearly 20 years now. His Losmandy mounts are highly regarded for their innovative mechanical designs.
Manufactured using computer controlled equipment operated by an experienced staff results in a degree of consistency and performance that is unrivaled in its price range.
The result for the user is a mount that tracks as it should with minimal Periodic Error - these mounts are a dream come true for astrophotographers.

Like their predecessors, the C262A3 is designed with portability in mind, weighing in at only 4.5kg it can support up to a 12kg payload an incredible 2.6 mount weight to payload ratio.
Regarding functionality the C262A3 delivers precise pointing and accurate tracking.
The C262A3 is equipped with the latest advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO technology, making it one of the most powerful and accurate GOTO mounts available.
