New Version : THE ZWO ASIAIR Plus 256G

The new ZWO ASIAIR Plus has 256Gb of memory and replaces previous the ZWO ASIAIR Plus with 32Gb of memory which has been discontinued. ZWO now have two versions of the ZWO ASIAIR - this one and the ZWO ASIAIR Mini.

With its new sleeker body it is 24% thinner and 13% lighter than the Original ASIAIR Plus. It features 4 DC 12V outputs, A DSLR Camera shutter release port, RJ45 Ethernet port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a newly added USB Type-C port, and an expansion card slot. All packed into a 100mm x 70mm x 26.5mm CNC-machined Aluminium case and of course it is ZWO Red in colour.

The New ZWO ASIAIR PLus 256 G is integrated with 256Gb eMMC Storage that offers faster data transmission speed .

Enhance Antenna provides stronger WiFi signal and faster communications.

Dual Band WiFi network with a working range of up to 20m. 5Ghz WiFi is faster than 2.4Ghz WiFi, but the range is shorter. The 20M working range is the average of multiple tests in open space at 2.4Ghz. When assembling the ASIAIR Plus, keep the USB 3.0 cable away from the WiFi antenna.

Easy to use Interfaces gives you full control of your gear. 2 x USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0ports an ethernet port 4 x 12v DC power outlets to connect your cooled camera, dew heater, EAF focuser etc. The newly added USB type C port for exporting your files to your laptop or PC.

The ZWO ASIAIR Pro Dovetail is designed for ASIAIR PRO to connect a Vixen dovetail plate. It can help achieve more convenient and flexible installation methods compared to the original dovetail plate of ASIAIR PRO.

Connection tips:

1. Remove the original dovetail plate of ASIAIR PRO.

2. Fix the dovetail groove to ASIAIR PRO with the screws you just take off from the plate.

3. It’s recommended to put the bolt towards the box side as shown in the pictures above and not to block the USB ports and status indicators.

The ZWO ASIAIR Mini is made with precision CNC machining from Aluminium which effectively prevents it from dust, dew. A truly durable device. The case has the constellations of Casseopia, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor laser etched on it.

ASIAIR PRO is a smart WiFi device that allows you to control Mainstream DSLR cameras.

But some DSLR cameras have a 30-second exposure limit, which requires an external shutter release cable to ASIAIR PRO.
