ZWO AM5N Harmonic Mount + TC40 Carbon Fibre Tripod Bundle
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
15 kg without a counterweight. The TC40 keeps the whole system portable.
The ZWO AM5N harmonic mount and TC40 carbon-fibre tripod pair serious imaging capacity with a system that remains practical to transport, assemble and control in the field. For anyone comparing an astrophotography mount in Australia, the bundle keeps the core mount and tripod choice together.
5.5 kg mount. 15 kg payload. Then a 2.3 kg carbon-fibre tripod to put it on the sky.
1 x ZWO AM5N harmonic mount.
This is the complete AM5N mount unit, not an adapter or accessory. It includes the ZWO hand controller, connection cables, quick guide, hex key and the individual periodic-error test report listed in the official manual.
1 x ZWO TC40 carbon-fibre tripod.
The matching TC40 provides the portable base for the mount. ZWO lists the tripod with its weight bag, three stainless-steel spikes and two hex wrenches.
USB Type-C and 12 V routing at the saddle.
Integrated data and power connections help reduce hanging cables around the moving axes. That means less clutter to manage when a camera, focuser and ASIAIR are all part of the imaging train.
Equatorial tracking or Alt-Az simplicity.
Use equatorial mode for accurate sky tracking and long-exposure imaging. Switch to Alt-Azimuth mode when the goal is a straightforward visual observing session.
2.3 kg folded. Up to 800 mm when the sky calls.
The TC40 folds to 500 mm for transport and adjusts from 470 to 800 mm. Its two-section carbon-fibre legs use 40 mm upper tubes and 36 mm lower tubes, while the supplied weight bag lets you add ballast when conditions or equipment demand more planted stability.
15 kg payload without counterweights, or 20 kg with counterweights.
Individual 360-degree periodic-error report supplied with the mount.
Computerised telescope mount control through ASIAIR, ASCOM, INDI, USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
R.A.-axis power-off brake and mechanical zero position.
0-90 degree altitude range for use across Australian latitudes.
TC40 includes a weight bag, three steel spikes and setup tools.
15 kg counterweight-free. Every key number in one place.
Under Australian skies. Backed by Bintel.
