The Astrozap AZ-153 Flexi-Shield® is a flexible dew shield engineered for the Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain and RASA 8. Upper and lower dovetail notches ensure it fits neatly on current CGX, CGEM, Advanced VX and NexStar models without fouling the rails.

Why a dew shield matters on a C8

The C8 is one of the most popular imaging and visual scopes in Australia, but the exposed corrector attracts dew quickly on clear nights. A passive Flexi-Shield dramatically delays dew formation, protects against stray light, and improves contrast on planets, the Moon and deep-sky targets.
