The Astrozap AZ-117 Flexi-Shield® is a flexible dew shield designed for the Celestron NexStar 5 SE, with a notch cut to clear the side-mounted dovetail bar. It's the easiest upgrade you can make to extend observing time on dewy nights.

More observing, better contrast

On a compact 5" SCT the corrector plate fogs up fast. The Flexi-Shield creates a pocket of slightly warmer, still air in front of the optic and blocks stray light from the surrounding environment, resulting in longer sessions and crisper views.
