Designed for the nature enthusiast who wants to pack light without sacrificing image quality, the Pentax 8x25 A-Series AD WP Compact Binocular delivers bright, clear images while weighing in at around 300g. Their BAK4 roof prisms are phase corrected to improve image contrast and enhance colour rendition. All of the optics are anti-reflection and fully multi-coated to maximize light transmission, producing the brightest views possible.
An asymmetrical hinge design enables the binocular to be folded up much smaller than typical centre-hinged optics. In order to cut weight, the housing is made of corrosion- and impact-resistant fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate polymer. The material is also temperature resistant, allowing for its use in extreme climates while reducing expansion and contraction that wide temperature swings can cause (and which can make the optical components move out of collimation over time).

Exceptional quality meets high-end expectations.
Pentax's 8x40 S-Series SP WP Binocular can be used with confidence in all weather and lighting conditions. The 40mm objectives are fully multicoated to reduce reflection and maximize light transmission through the entire optical path without making them overly cumbersome for a long day on the trail. Utilizing the traditional porro prism configuration gives scenes a rich depth of view for an immersive observation experience and provides a comfortable feel in the hand with a lot of surface area to maintain a sure grip.
The coatings ensure bright and clear high-contrast images even in low-light, and its utilitarian 8x magnification brings subjects close while maintaining 363 field of view to preserve situational awareness.
Large objective lenses incorporated in the design allow for contrast-rich, bright viewing under all light conditions.
Premium multi-layer coatings assure the maximum light transmission through the binocular. The result is bright, crisp, true-to-life images in the widest range of viewing conditions.
Specialized protective coating (SD models only) repels dust, water and grease to keep your optics clean and your image quality at its peak.
Rigid body construction makes these binoculars extremely rugged to maintain optical alignment. This ensures comfortable viewing throughout the life of the product.
Waterproof and nitrogen-filled (JIS Class 6) to handle the most extreme weather conditions (submersible to 1m).

Kowa Prominar XD Lenses
Kowa's XD Lenses (eXtra-low) dispersion glass with similar characteristics to fluorite crystal) combines with a special dispersion concave lens to reduce a very high percentage of chromatic aberration for the ultimate viewing experience.
Schmidt-Pechan Roof Prism Lens and C3 Coating
Kowa's roof prism binoculars use a Schmidt-Pechan prism. With the highly reflective C3 coating application, this increases reflectivity by 99% or higher reflectance rate across the entire visible spectrum (400-700nm). This not only provides bright and sharp images, but also accurate color reproduction.
Thixomolded Magnesium Alloy Body
A magnesium alloy body is formed using a sophisticated thixomolding technology to deliver the benefits of a high strength metal body but in a lightweight magnesium alloy structure. The durability and reliability of these binoculars can withstand the most severe conditions to provide users the greatest degree of confidence and security.
Kowa's KR Coating
Kowa's KR coating protects the lenses from dirt and other foreign residues that may affix to the lenses during normal use. Fingerprints or oil can easily be removed with the proper lens cleaning techniques.
All-Surface Multi-Coating
The all-surface multi-coated optical system provides a precise color definition for a brighter and sharper image.
Waterproof and Fogproof
The housing is waterproof to JIS Protection Class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging to ensure image clarity.
Twist-Up Eyecups
Twist-up multi-step eyecups allow customization for easy viewing even when wearing eyeglasses.

Clarity, refined.
The Fujinon HC 8×42 and HC 10×42 are premium Japanese-built ED roof-prism binoculars, engineered for serious birdwatchers, naturalists and outdoor observers across Australia.
Hand-built in Japan. Designed for a lifetime of mornings, evenings and everything in between.
Premium ED binoculars, refined down to the last millimetre.
Every choice in the Fujinon HC series, from the glass to the prism coatings to the magnesium chassis, is made in service of one thing: an image so honest you forget the binocular is there.
Extra-low dispersion glass. Practically zero colour fringing.
ED lens elements paired with lanthanum-glass eyepieces suppress chromatic and spherical aberration so subjects sit on a clean, true-colour background, edge to edge.
Fujinon SUPER EBC.
Signature multi-coating on every air-to-glass surface, for higher light transmission.
Prism reflectance.
Phase-corrected, dielectric-coated Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms preserve image brightness right to your eye.
Magnesium-alloy body.
Hand-built in Fujinon's Omiya factory. Lightweight, rigid and quietly serious.
Waterproof & fog-proof.
Nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed. Submersible 1m for 5 minutes; ready for any Australian weather.
Nine ED elements. Seven groups. One uncompromised view.
Every element in the Fujinon HC optical path is positioned to control distortion across the entire image circle, not just the centre. The result is bright, edge-to-edge sharpness that holds true from the heart of the field right out to the very edge - ideal for tracking fast-moving birds in flight or scanning bushland for movement at dawn.
Engineered to disappear into the conditions you take it through.
A nitrogen-purged, O-ring sealed magnesium-alloy chassis, waterproof to one metre and fog-resistant across rapid temperature shifts. Water-repellent coatings on both objectives and eyepieces shed rain and sea spray, while a slip-resistant elastomeric grip keeps the binocular under confident control with one hand, with or without gloves.
Filter threads, for casual binocular astronomy.
M46 × 0.75 threaded objectives accept polariser, neutral-density and even narrowband nebula filters - rare in a birding-grade binocular. The same Fujinon HC you use for the dawn chorus can pull detail out of the Southern Hemisphere Milky Way, the Magellanic Clouds and bright nebulae like Eta Carinae after dark.

metres minimum focus. Dragonflies, butterflies, orchids — the CL Companion brings the closest subjects into razor-sharp relief.
16 mm eye relief.
Full field of view whether you wear glasses or not. Twist-up eyecups lock to your preferred position.
Sealed to 4 m depth.
Nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. Ready for coastal spray, tropical downpours, and misty highland mornings.

An 8° real field of view is wide for a compact binocular. Find fast-moving birds instantly and hold them in frame — exactly what a birder needs on the move.
Made to be used every day. Not saved for the trip.

With the ZEISS 10x40 SFL binoculars (SmartFocus Lightweight), special moments can be experienced with ease. Optimized to be as lightweight and compact as possible, the SFL binoculars are a perfect addition to the SF family. The new Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) Concept ensures true-to-life color reproduction and the highest level of detail. Thanks to its SmartFocus Concept, the focus wheel is perfectly positioned and enables fast and precise focusing – even with gloves on. The optimized ergonomics and a large exit pupil allow for a relaxed and undisturbed viewing experience.
With a field of view of up to 115 meters at a distance of 1,000 meters and a closest focusing distance of 1.5 meters, the SFL 10x40 deliver a perfect overview combined with precise detail recognition.
The lens diameter has been reduced by 2 mm, making it possible to use thinner lens elements at closer spacing and thus reduce the binoculars’ weight by up to 20% and their volume by up to 13% compared to the ZEISS Victory SF models. As a result, the SFL binoculars are up to 30% lighter than comparable products from competitors.
Experience nature in all its splendor
The Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) concept features a special coating and an improved optical design that ensures the binoculars deliver the highest level of detail and reproduce colors with natural fidelity. This makes it possible to precisely identify the smallest features in the plumage and reliably distinguish between species.
SmartFocus Concept for an intuitive and precise handling
The SmartFocus concept makes it possible to focus quickly and precisely – without having to spread your fingers. The focusing wheel, perfectly positioned in the DoubleLink Bridge, offers the highest level of operating ergonomics, requiring only 1.4 turns from close focus to infinity and capable of being rotated precisely even with gloves on.
90% Light Transmission
Featuring 90% light transmission and ZEISS T* multicoating, you can clearly and precisely recognize details in the twilight, ensuring that you capture every moment, even in darker environments.
Comfortable viewing experience
The perfect ergonomics of the ZEISS SFL models enable quick and easy positioning of the eye and also provide comfortable and immersive viewing due to the large exit pupil. In addition, the improved eyecups provide an even better ergonomic feel and a smooth transition between the touch points, which are precisely defined and can be reached perfectly.
ZEISS T* Coating
ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast images which you will experience above all in adverse light conditions and in the twilight. Behind it, however, there is no specific formula for building up the layers. Instead, it is a technology that is constantly adjusted to suit new glass materials and requirements, which varies from lens to lens.
A clear view, whatever the weather
There are always exciting things to be seen in the world of nature – even in wet weather. This is why ZEISS developed LotuTec®. A coating for the lenses of binoculars and spotting scopes that enables a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions.

INNOVATION IN EVERY DETAIL
"CONSTANTLY IMPROVING WHAT IS GOOD"
This has been the SWAROVSKI OPTIK motto since day one. For Swarovski, this also means exceeding their customers’ expectations and surprising them time and again – with the precision of Swarovski's products, with their innovative technology and with their comprehensive service.
PRECISION GUARANTEED
Swarovski's products are manufactured with ultra precise tolerances of 8 μ, less than a hair’s breadth (approximately 60 μ). It is only through a combination of maximum precision, state-of-the-art technology and adherence to the high SWAROVSKI OPTIK quality standards that they are able to consistently and permanently assure the optical perfection for which SWAROVSKI OPTIK is renowned, including tazor-sharp, high-contrast images with maximum colour fidelity as a result of exclusively using high-precision lenses and prisms, and complete reliability from -20 °C / +55 °C.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
To ensure a consistently high quality level in all their products, Swarovski subject every product and every phase of production to comprehensive, manual quality controls. Every product also undergoes a full image and material control. Swarovski's quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001/2000 since 1999. Their environmental management system has been certified to ISO 14001 since 2000.
SWAROVISION
The SWAROVISION technology redefined the concept of optical quality.
Field Flattener lenses provide unprecedented peripheral definition, fluoride-containing HD lenses minimize colour fringing, while optimized coatings ensure maximum colour fidelity.
Large eye relief offering a full field of view for those wearing eye glasses.
HD-OPTICS
Swarovski's HD optics feature fluoride-containing lenses, which virtually eliminate colour aberrations.
The scatter is considerably less with fluoride than with even the best types of optical glass.
This enables maximum colour fidelity and leads to a significant improvement in resolution and contrast
SWAROTOP AND SWARODUR
Coatings for bright, high-contrast images: Reduces surface light reflection from 4-6% to 0.2%.
Used on all the lenses and prisms found in SWAROVSKI OPTIK products.
SWAROBRIGHT
Coating for maximum colour fidelity across the whole light spectrum: SWAROVSKI OPTIK was the first manufacturer in the world to use this technology in series production.
SWAROCLEAN
This non-stick coating on the lenses makes it easier to clean away dirt such as water marks, insect repellents, or tree resin.
NEW FEATURES AND FIELDPRO PACKAGE The launch of the EL binoculars by SWAROVSKI OPTIK marked a milestone in long-range optics. These binoculars have now been further enhanced following intensive development and a great deal of dedication. The result of these efforts is the best EL Family ever. PREMIUM QUALITY DOWN TO THE SMALLEST DETAIL
Like every product from SWAROVSKI OPTIK, all EL SWAROVISION binoculars are produced using the lowest possible production tolerances and undergo a 100% quality check. Swarovski's commitment to complete customer satisfaction is reflected in their comprehensive 10 year warranty. Should your binoculars develop a fault or be damaged, even outside the warranty period, you can be assured of service second to none.
The 8x42 or 10x42 models of the EL 42 SWAROVISION binoculars are available in green. As standard, the binoculars also come with eyepiece and objective lens protectors, as well as a lift carrying strap.

Full NL Pure optical quality in a body light enough to forget you’re wearing it. 150 m field of view, 640 g. The binocular you’ll actually take everywhere.
The widest field of view in any compact 32 mm binocular. 150 m at 1,000 m – in a glass that fits in a jacket pocket.
Field flattener lenses. Edge-to-edge clarity.
Most binoculars soften at the edges. The NL Pure uses field flattener lenses to counteract field curvature, delivering razor-sharp detail right to the rim of the view. No compromise, no blur where the birds are.
Natural ergonomic grip. Hours of use without fatigue.
Compact size. Generous light.
A 4 mm exit pupil – unusually large for a 32 mm objective – paired with 92% light transmission. SWAROVISION coatings pull every photon forward, keeping the image vivid well past golden hour.
Submersible to 4 m depth.
Nitrogen-purged to prevent fogging. Sealed to 4 metres. Weather is not a reason to leave the NL Pure at home.
Steady the view. Forget the binoculars.
The optional forehead rest lets you observe for hours without arm fatigue. Your hands hold steady, your attention stays on the bird. Combined with the wasp-waist grip, the NL Pure becomes an extension of your own vision.
Small body. No shortcuts.
The same Austrian craftsmanship as the full-size NL Pure – machined focus wheel, phase-coated BaK-4 prisms, hand-assembled – in a body 30% lighter than the 42 mm. Nothing was left out. Only weight.
The compact that punches above its class. Nothing compromised.
150 m field of view at 1,000 m – the widest in any 8×32 binocular. Tracks fast-flying birds with ease.
SWAROVISION field flattener lenses deliver sharp, distortion-free images to the very edge of the view.
18 mm eye relief with seven eyecup positions. Full field of view with or without eyeglasses.
92% light transmission with a 4 mm exit pupil – a class-leading figure for a 32 mm compact. Bright to the very last of the light.
Wasp-waist ergonomic housing sits naturally in the hand. Comfortable for extended observation sessions.
Compatible with the full FieldPro Pro accessory system: forehead rest, wide strap lug, tripod adapter.
Close focus of 2 m. Butterflies, orchids, and birds in dense undergrowth – all resolved in full NL Pure detail.
Nitrogen-purged and waterproof to 4 m. Sealed against moisture, fog, and Australian field conditions.
Adapt to every situation.
The NL Pure is the foundation. The FieldPro Pro accessory system builds on it. Attach the forehead rest for hours of hands-free steady observation. Add the wide strap lug for a broader, more comfortable carry. Mount the tripod adapter for long-distance scanning in the field.
Swarovski NL Pure 8×32. Every number.
Built in Austria. Backed by Bintel.
$4,190.00
Compact brilliance. Full NL Pure quality.
The NL Pure 8×32 delivers more scene than any other 32mm binocular on the market. A 150-metre field of view, 92% light transmission, and edge-to-edge sharpness from a precision instrument handmade in Austria.
The world, exactly as it is. Every colour true, every edge sharp, from first light to last.
The widest view in its class
At 150 metres per 1,000 metres — an 8.5° real field of view — the NL Pure 8×32 shows you more of the world than any comparable 32mm binocular. A bird at the tree line, a whale sounding offshore, an alpine ridge at first light: more scene, more context, more moment.
Light the eye can use
SWAROBRIGHT HD multi-layer coating on every optical surface achieves 92% total light transmission. Not a headline figure — it is the difference between dawn detail and a grey silhouette, colour and nothing, a flush and a miss.
Edge-to-edge sharpness. Not just centre sharpness.
Swarovski Optik's patented FieldFlattener lenses correct field curvature across the entire image circle. The result is a flat, uniformly sharp field all the way to the edge — not just the centre sweet spot. When a bird crosses the frame, it stays in focus.
Full field view for spectacle wearers — no compromise to the optical experience.
Repels everything
Hydrophobic and oleophobic outer lens coating. Water beads off. Fingerprints wipe clean in one pass. Rain does not stop the session.
Nitrogen-purged and submersible to 4 metres. Safe in rain, spray, and accidental immersion.
Crafted at source
Every NL Pure is assembled by hand in Absam, Austria — home of Swarovski Optik since 1949.
The forehead rest. A genuinely new idea.
The NL Pure's forehead rest sits above the eyecups and lets you brace the binocular against your brow, significantly reducing hand tremor and fatigue during extended viewing. A small structural detail that changes every long session in the field. Patented by Swarovski Optik.
Go lighter. See more.
The NL Pure 8×32 is the binocular for the observer who wants world-class optics without the weight. 640g. Compact enough for a jacket pocket. Ready for every outing.
Focus as close as 2 metres. Every detail of a perched bird, an insect on a stem, or a wildflower in reach.
FSB functional bag
Ships with Swarovski Optik's FSB functional sidebag and UCS universal comfort strap — purpose-engineered for the field.
