Celestron
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
Celestron StarSense Explorer 150mm Tabletop Dobsonian Telescope is for visual observing of the Moon, planets and brighter deep-sky objects. Darker skies reveal more deep-sky targets.
25mm and 10mm Kellner eyepieces give you two starting magnifications.
Allow for the tube and base when choosing storage and a route outside. This is telescope kit mass, not packed shipping weight.
The 150mm model combines a tabletop Dobsonian base with a panning knob at the front of the tube. Use a stable support at a comfortable height; the tube cradle lets you adjust the eyepiece position.

Official Celestron guidance illustration. Smartphone not included.
Fit your compatible smartphone, unlock the StarSense Explorer app with the supplied code and follow its camera-alignment prompts.
Select a target and move the telescope by hand, following the arrows. The green bullseye indicates that the target should be in the eyepiece field after correct alignment.
Look through the eyepiece. As the object drifts, nudge the telescope to follow it. This mount has no motorised pointing or automatic tracking.
Tube: 723.9mm long x 190.5mm diameter. Base: 482.6 x 482.6 x 469.9mm. Manufacturer kit and component masses are rounded independently; these are not packaged shipping weights.
Smartphone and tabletop support not included.
App guidance needs a compatible smartphone. Use the StarSense Explorer phone compatibility checker for the current supported devices.
The included collimation cap helps you check the mirrors. Follow the model-specific procedure in the Dobsonian instruction manual when adjustment is needed.
Never point the telescope at the Sun without a proper solar filter over the front aperture. Never use an eyepiece solar filter or Herschel wedge. Adult supervision is essential when children are present.
