The anti-dew heater which completely fit the protective window will heat it to avoid any dew problems.
Full Frame format
The ASI6200 Pro camera uses a full-frame format. The outstanding 9576x6388 resolution provided by the onboard Sony IMX455 sensor makes this camera a 61.2-megapixel full frame powerhouse! The sensor length and width are 36mm x 24mm respectively, and the diagonal is 43.3mm. This is a camera with a small pixel size of 3.76um that can accommodate a large well depth of 51.4ke.
Native 16bit ADC
ASI6200 Pro camera is our first batch of CMOS astronomy cameras with true 16-bit ADC. It is not a CCD-style 16-bit ADC – it really can achieve a dynamic range output of 14 stops. This significantly improves the image sharpness and contrast, and the contrast gradients are smoother and more natural-looking.
Built for astrophotography

From the start, the Astronomik OIII filter has been very specifically designed for the visual observation of gaseous and planetary nebulae. The extremely narrow pass band of the two OIII lines brings a substantial contrast gain to these lines even under best observation conditions. On faint super nova remnants and faint planetary nebulae the Astronomik OIII filter will often make the difference as to whether the object can bee seen or not!
The optimal aperture ratio for the use of the filter is 1:3.7 to 1:15 with apertures of more than 6" (150mm). Transmission losses and chromatic distortions, which arise with other filters, occur with Astronomik OIII filters only when extremely bright aperture ratios of 1:3 and more come into play. The Astronomik OIII filters thus can expand the view of dispersed objects, generally speaking, to the whole visual field of view of the eyepiece and are not limited to only the center of the eyepiece.
Main use
Since enough light must be available to make use of the OIII filter it is best to use this filter with apertures of more than 6" (150mm). Smaller instruments do not gather enough light for meaningful and satisfying astronomical work. However, please note: Many experienced Deep Sky observers, with apertures of more than 10" (250mm), prefer using the OIII filter instead of the more versatile UHC filter. Due to the high optical quality of the Astronomik OIII filter substrate you will see the same needle-sharp stars as you would from your regular telescope.

Swarovski ATX 115 at a glance
There’s never been anything like it: a spotting scope with such outstanding detail resolution and up to 70x magnification. This even pushes optical tests to their limits. Despite the 115-mm objective lens, this is a slim spotting scope weighing in at just 2 kilograms.
In a nutshell, it ticks all the boxes for any birder wanting to discover an albatross gliding past an oceanic headland.
Clarity right up to the edge – SWAROVISION Field Flattener
This type of image definition has never been achieved before in any other spotting scope, thanks to the field flattener lenses creating a virtually flat image. Even the finest structures are reproduced with razor-sharp clarity right up to the edge with no need for constant refocusing.
The result: every detail is instantly captured, producing a perfect image without any distortions.
Maximum contrast – Including HD optics
A highly innovative optics design combined with fluoride- containing HD lenses minimise interfering colour fringing. This enables maximum
colour fidelity and leads to a significant improvement in resolution and contrast.
The result: an even more lifelike, contrast-rich image.
A complete view – Large field of view and high zoom range
Nothing escapes you. Thanks to their wide field of view, the ATX/STX spotting scopes provide you with a broader, more exciting platform for your viewing experience.
In spite of their high zoom range, the new generation of spotting scopes offers a large field of view. This allows you to achieve optimum magnification and detail recognition and also makes it extremely easy for you to search for and find objects, especially if they are in motion.
Eye relief plus – Large field of view even for spectacle wearers
SWAROVISION features a long eye relief and the removable twist-in eyecup is individually adjustable.
The result: even spectacle wearers can enjoy a large field of view, not to mention the inimitable edge sharpness. An additional eyecup has been specially developed for spectacle wearers to further increase viewing comfort.
Maximum colour fidelity – Optimised coatings
The enhanced lens and prism coatings (SWARODUR & SWAROTOP) give noticeably better colour reproduction combined with even greater transmission. SWAROCLEAN coatings on the outer lens surfaces create a non-stick effect, making it easier to clean.
The result: even more impressive observing experiences, even in low light.
Ingenious System
The new modular design offers previously unimagined flexibility and you are free to choose the perfect solution as the situation dictates. In collaboration with experts we have developed digiscoping adapters that open up a new realm of ways in which to observe and share the most beautiful moments.
Perfectly designed down to the smallest detail, you will be equipped for any situation.
Just one hand
When every second counts. Imagine a plover flitting over the shore one minute and taking off into the sky the next. The ATX/STX spotting scopes ensure that you are prepared for moments like this. This is because the new position of the zoom ring, which is now directly behind the focusing ring, makes it easier to handle. It means that you can zoom and focus with one hand, while steering the spotting scopes direction with the other.
This completely new ergonomic design offers a crucial benefit for digiscopers in particular. They can now use the camera quickly, easily and accurately with one hand, while the other concentrates on zoom and focus.
Easy to transport
Not a gram too heavy for top optical performance. Size and weight is the name of the game for all those who like to travel or spend long days in the field. The ATX/STX series means that bulky spotting scopes that are difficult to pack and heavy to carry are a thing of the past.
The modular design enables you to store the objective and eyepiece modules separately and the smaller dimensions also mean that you can easily and safely store individual modules in your luggage.

QHY5III485C uses Sony’s new IMX485, back-illuminated, 8.4 megapixel color CMOS sensor with an array of 3864 x 2180 pixels at 2.9um. With USB 3.0 interface, the full frame rate of 44 FPS at 8-bits or 18.5 FPS at 16-bits. Smaller regions of interest will yield even faster frame rates.
The resolution of QHY5III485C is 16:9, which is equivalent to the mainstream video output ratio. With the native high resolution, 485C can play a special role in recording astronomical video and astronomical science live broadcast.
QHY5III485C is specially equipped with 128MB DDR bulid-in image buffer. In non-video output mode, DDR built-in buffer can effectively relieve the transmission pressure brought by high-resolution large data volume and reduce information loss.
In the back- illuminated sensor the light is allowed to enter the photosensitive surface from the reverse side. In this case the sensor’s embedded wiring structure is below the photosensitive layer. As a result, more incoming photons strike the photosensitive layer and more electrons are generated and captured in the pixel well. This ratio of photon to electron production is called quantum efficiency. The higher the quantum efficiency the more efficient the sensor is at converting photons to electrons and hence the more sensitive the sensor is to capturing an image of something dim.
The QHY5III485C standard package includes a 2.5mm Fisheye lens that converts the planetary camera into a high-resolution, 8.4 Megapixel All Sky camera with 180-degree field of view.

Image High power doesn't need to mean shaky views.
If you've ever needed to hand hold higher power binoculars, you'll know hard it is to keep them steady, especially for long periods of time. It's even hard on a bumpy surface or on a boat. Now with the Fujinon TECHNO-STABI binoculars from BINTEL, forget for the shakes and enjoy the views!
You'll get to see high-power 12 times magnification views of birds, nature, sports, and concerts without the need for a tripod. Get in close but without the handshaking that sometime accompanies higher magnification.
The prism in the gimbal system is constantly stabilized when the electronic gyro sensor detects vibration, providing vibration correction at a wider range of angles than any other system. Views through the Fujinon TECHNO-STABI binoculars will be much steadier and clearer when you're on the go or need to follow a moving object.
Waterproof and dustproof
They're also a perfect companion for boating - the image stabilisation keeps distant view in focus even with the deck rocking under your feet during bumpy conditions. A bit of a splash or even if they fall into water won't harm Fujinon TECHNO-STABI binoculars.
Long life battery power
Fujinon TECHNO-STABI binoculars run for hours on end off either standard AA batteries that can find anywhere or rechargeable batteries. If the batteries go flat, you can still use the binoculars. It's just the image stabilisation that stops working.

The Saxon 12" DeepSky CT Dobsonian Telescope features a powerhouse telescope with amazing light-gathering capabilities that's easy to use and transport.
This telescope is the retractable twin to the full-tube saxon 12" DeepSky Dobsonian Telescope and comes with the same specs of 305mm aperture and a focal length of 1500mm. Featuring a collapsible truss-tube dobsonian design, the optical tube can be retracted into a shorter length and locked down to ensure secure and easy transportation. This scope also comes with a paraboloidal primary mirror to eliminate spherical aberration allowing you to see wide-field views of the Moon, constellations and deep sky objects such as the Great Orion Nebula.
Assembly of the telescope requires no additional tools. You'll be pleased with how easy it is to use the saxon 12" DeepSky CT Dobsonian Telescope with its Dobsonian mount. Simply swivel the telescope to the direction of your intended object and look through the eyepiece. This scope's Teflon bearing system in both axes with tension control handle means you'll be able to smoothly move your telescope to a precise location.
The DeepSky CT Dobsonian Telescopes series comes in three sizes - 8", 10" and 12".
What is a Dobsonian telescope and why the tension control handle?
A simple, elegant form of an alt-azimuth mount made to carry a Newtonian reflector was popularized by John Dobson in the late 1970's. The Dobsonian mounted telescope is popular among amateur astronomers and telescope makers because of its simplicity. In its simplest form, the Dobsonian mount consists of a box which allows the optical tube assembly to pivot in altitude, while the box itself is swivelled on a base in azimuth.
The Dobsonian mount usually relies on the friction between the side bearings on the optical tube of the telescope and a frictional material on the saddle to hold the optical tube in place. If there is too much friction, the telescope is difficult to move to center an object in the filed of view. If there is too little friction, the telescope will not sty where it is positioned. This makes stabilizing the optical tube of the telescope difficult when using a Dobsonian mount, especially when accessories, such as a finderscope or an eyepiece, are added to the optical tube. As long as the amount of friction is at an appropriate level, and therefore stabilization of the optical tube is achieved, the telescope can remain in its desired position to view an object and maintain its position even when the mount is rotated.
The devices for stabilizing a telescope on the Dobsonian mount currently available include: a sliceable weight to counter balance the weight of the telescope, a friction lock that must be adjusted to inhibit movement of the telescope, and a spring attached between the telescope tube and mount to aid in stabilization.
These devices are inconvenient to use because they do not provide a simple and user-friendly way to adjust the friction. The objective of the saxon Tension Control Handle invention is to provide a tension adjuster that users can easily turn to add or reduce tension, thereby increasing or decreasing the friction between the optical tube and the sideboard of the mount.
By providing such a tension adjuster, the telescope does not need to be balanced in order to stay in position. The tension adjuster can be tightened such that the optical tube can stay in a position but can still be moved when prompted to adjust the position of the optical tube. Alternatively, the tension adjuster can be completely tightened to lock the optical tube in position.

The Celestron C9.25-A is an unusual size with its 9.25” aperture and 2350 mm focal length, but many consider it to be the Goldilocks of optical tubes—not too big, not too small. This rugged aluminum optical tube is only 558mm long and weighs just 9kgs, making it easy to transport and set up. But the views are much more impressive than what you’d expect from such a compact instrument. The tube offers a focal ratio of f/10 with the added versatility of Fastar (see below).
It is equipped with Celestron’s patented StarBright® XLT optical coatings, which visibly increase contrast and light transmission for brighter deep space images and shorter exposure times. With StarBright XLT, you’ll be able to discern subtle details while viewing the Moon and planets as well as faint galaxies and nebulae.
The Celestron C9.25-A
Fastar Technology
In 1997, CCDs were making a name for themselves in the astrophotography world, quickly supplanting traditional film photography thanks to their speed and convenience. This was the year that Celestron joined forces with the Santa Barbara Instruments Group (SBIG) to produce Fastar, a revolutionary add-on to Celestron’s hugely popular Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) optical system.
With Fastar, the SCT’s secondary mirror can be removed and replaced with a field-flattening lens assembly (sold separately by third party manufacturers) so that a CCD camera can be used in the front of the telescope at the f/2 focus of the instrument’s primary mirror. The potential of the Fastar system is staggering: exposures are 25 times shorter than if the camera was placed at the instrument’s native f/10 focus. Imagers can capture galaxies and nebulae with exposures of just 30 seconds.
StarBright XLT is Celestron’s revolutionary optical coating system. It consistently outperforms all other coatings in the commercial telescope market. There are three major components that make up our StarBright XLT high-transmission optical system design:
- Unique enhanced multi-layer mirror coatings made from precise layers of aluminum, SiO2 (quartz), TiO2 (titanium dioxide), and SiO2 (silicon dioxide). Reflectivity is fairly flat across the spectrum, optimizing it for both imaging and visual observing.
- Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings made from precise layers of MgF2 (magnesium fluoride) and HfO2 (hafnium dioxide). Hafnium—a rare element that costs nearly $2,000 per kilogram—gives us a wider band pass than the titanium used in competing coatings.
- High-transmission water white glass is used instead of soda lime glass for the corrector lens. Water white glass transmits about 90.5% of light without anti-reflective coatings; that’s 3.5% better than uncoated soda lime glass. When water white glass is used in conjunction with StarBright XLT’s anti-reflective coatings, the average transmission reaches an astonishing 97.4.

Tele Vue 2 Inch Extension Tube
Telescope drawtube extensions help your telescope reach focus when not using a diagonal — as is the case in many imaging applications. They are also useful (with or without diagonal) when you need more out-travel for focusing on nearby terrestrial subjects.
Tele Vue extension tubes slip into any telescope's 2" drawtube and include brass clamp rings to prevent marring of accessory barrels.

Model TRF-2008 Tele Vue 0.8x Reducer/flattener 400-600mm converts TV-85 to 480mm f/5.6 and TV-76 to 380mm f/5.0 for flat field, fast photography. Fully multi-coated 3-element unit inserts directly into 2" focuser, accepts standard T-rings for 35mm cameras. Whilst designed for use in the TV-76 and TV-85, it can be used with other fast refractors between 400mm and 600mm focal length.
Used in prime-focus imaging, reducers increase photographic speed while flatteners decrease image curvature away from the center.
Important Note: The following products were all designed for an optimum 55mm back focus. (Distance from flange surface to film or CCD plane). If you use a CCD, be sure the spacing between flange and CCD is 56mm +/-2mm for best results.
"This accessory is a must-have for someone planning to use the TV-85 photographically" - review in Sky & Telescope, July 1999. Also it can be used with any 400-600mm refractor.

The 3.5mm Nagler Type 6 is a natural progression of 1.4x power steps from 7mm and 5mm Naglers. You don't have to sacrifice field in order to gain sharpness and power. And, you're not limited to slow scopes, or have to squint through tiny eye lenses. These are the lunar and "planetary" eyepieces with field to spare.
Nagler Type 6
The 7-element, Nagler Type 6 design is based on the original patented Nagler design. This new 7-element design update for the short focal length Nagler deserves its own designation. Using different exotic materials, coating processes and design ingenuity, Al has massaged more eye-relief, contrast, and true field of view into the shorter focal length Naglers, while maintaining the absolute sharpness of the originals. Eye-relief is 12mm on each model, and all are sized about the same as the original 7mm! Weight about 0.4 to 0.5 lbs.
Concept: The goal we set designing these new eyepieces was to increase contrast, maintain or increase eye-relief, reduce size and weight, and maintain the sharpness of the originals. They are all parfocal and great with the Bino Vue.
Why Are There 4 Types of Naglers?
To achieve various features requires different design tradeoffs and thus the different types of Nagler eyepieces. The largest possible true fields of view for an 82°' apparent field of view in both 2" and 1¼" formats are achieved with the Nagler Type 5 series, with focal lengths of 31 and 16 mm
Compact size in medium to short focal lengths is achieved with the Nagler Type 6, available in focal lengths of 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, and 3.5 mm.
To achieve eyeglass friendly eye relief without excessively large and heavy designs requires the other two Nagler types. The 22mm Type 4 and 19, 14, 9, 5.5 mm Type 7 with their long eye relief feature adjustable height eyeguards and are best for eyeglass wearers or Dioptrx™ users.

Celestron EdgeHD 14 OTA
See the Universe in HD
EdgeHD is an aplanatic, flat field Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that produces aberration-free images across a wide visual and photographic field of view. The optical system was designed to reduce more than just off-axis star coma; it also provides an astrograph-quality flat focal plane all the way to the edge of the field of view.
True Astrograph Quality
Many optical designs that advertise themselves as "astrographs" actually only produce pinpoint stars across a curved focal plane. While this may be acceptable for some visual observing, stars will appear out of focus at the edge when used with the flat chip sensor of a digital camera.
EdgeHD optics produce a focal plane more than three-times flatter than a standard Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and dramatically flatter than competing coma-free designs. This guarantees you visibly sharp stars across some of the largest CCD chips available today.
Improved Performance
Superior edge performance provides two distinct advantages. You'll enjoy rounder, more pleasing stars. It also improves the resolution and limiting magnitude when compared to telescopes of equal aperture. With Celestron’s StarBright XLT optical coatings on every surface, EdgeHD optics gives you maximum light throughput across the widest visual and photographic spectrum.
Mechanical Features
In addition to EdgeHD’s optimized optical design, the telescope tube has been redesigned to make sure you get the most from your optics each and every night.
- Mirror clutches - Flexible tension clutches hold the mirror in place and reduce image shift when taking long exposure astro-images. Once focused, the flexible rods allow the mirror to be held in place without putting any force or pressure on the mirror assembly, keeping the image centered in the eyepiece (or on the sensor).
- Tube vents - Cooling vents located on the rear cell allow hot air to be released from behind the primary mirror. Each vent has an integrated 95-micron micromesh filter guaranteed to let warm air out without letting dust in.
- Fastar versatility - EdgeHD is the most versatile imaging telescope available today. At its native f/10, you can achieve the image scale necessary to capture the smallest of deep sky objects. Add the optional reducer lens—custom-designed for your size EdgeHD tube—and you can increase your field of view without sacrificing optical performance. A Barlow gives you added power for high-resolution planetary, lunar and solar imaging. All EdgeHD optical tubes are Fastar-compatible, allowing the secondary mirror to be removed and replaced with a third party lens accessory for ultra-fast f/2 wide field imaging.
Individually Tested
Every EdgeHD that ships has been tested not only for the surface quality of each optical component, but also with a camera and artificial star to ensure the imaging system meets our rigid quality assurance. This “final acceptance test” confirms the EdgeHD will perform in the field and deliver high-quality astroimages.

The Celestron 2” Luminos Barlow Lens increases the magnification of your 2” and 1.25” eyepieces by 2.5x. The premium 4-element apochromatic optics are fully multi-coated for optimum light transmission and yield high contrast, true colour images.
The beautiful hard-anodized aluminum housing matches the eyepieces in the Celestron Luminos line. A centralized rubber grip helps to keep your hands securely on the barrel, even when your fingers are cold or you are wearing gloves. A brass compression ring just inside the top of the Luminos 2.5x Barlow grabs your 2” eyepieces gently but firmly when you turn the oversized thumbscrew. Once the thumbscrew has been secured in place, the brass ring keeps your eyepiece in the Barlow instead of relying on the tip of the thumbscrew itself, offering a better grip and protecting the barrel from scratches. A matching 2” to 1.25” adapter is included so that you can increase the magnification of all of your eyepieces, both 1.25” and 2”, in this versatile Barlow lens.
The insert barrel of the Celestron Luminos 2.5x Barlow is threaded to accept 2” filters. This is a nice feature, because you can change eyepieces without removing and reattaching the filter each time.
