A modern intelligent headlamp designed to assist astronomers and night sky photographers with a low powered red-light output and hand motion sensing on / off control.

Offering four convenient red light output levels and a white spotlight or flood light feature with two brightness levels, activated separately from the red light.

The new version 2 model has a low power red light setting with turns on when the lamp turns first turns on. This helps preserve your night adapted vision. 

With the intelligent switch control, there is no chance you will accidentally flash a white light again, preserving your night vision.

The V-340 headlamp also includes an upgraded high capacity 2000mAh lithium battery, allowing a long duration of up to 24 hours plus operation and modern fast USB-C recharging.

V340 is inspired from the star V340 Sagittae, a red super giant from the Sagitta constellation, also known as the “Arrow” and represents Heracles’ arrow in Greek mythology. V340 Sagittae is approximately 215 times bigger than our Sun.
