The TMB Super Plossl Series
The TMB Super Plossl series is a clear upgrade over the basic eyepieces supplied with most telescopes, offering sharper images, better contrast, and improved build quality at an accessible price point.
Using a classic 4 element Plossl optical design and a 50 degree apparent field of view, these eyepieces deliver bright, well corrected views across the field. Fully multi coated optics enhance light transmission and reduce internal reflections, helping planetary detail stand out more clearly and deep sky objects appear cleaner and more defined compared to standard kit eyepieces.
Each eyepiece features a standard 1.25 inch barrel with filter threads, solid metal construction, and protective caps, making them a dependable addition to any observing kit.
The TMB 12mm Super Plossl
The 12mm TMB Super Plossl offers an excellent balance between magnification and comfort. It performs well on the Moon, planets, and smaller deep sky targets while remaining easy to use.
Eye relief is noticeably more comfortable than shorter focal lengths, making it well suited for extended viewing sessions.
For many telescope setups, the 12mm represents a very useful medium high power that will see regular use across a wide range of targets.
