The TMB Super Plossl Series
The TMB Super Plossl series is a clear upgrade over the basic eyepieces supplied with most telescopes, offering sharper images, better contrast, and improved build quality at an accessible price point.
Using a classic 4 element Plossl optical design and a 50 degree apparent field of view, these eyepieces deliver bright, well corrected views across the field. Fully multi coated optics enhance light transmission and reduce internal reflections, helping planetary detail stand out more clearly and deep sky objects appear cleaner and more defined compared to standard kit eyepieces.
Each eyepiece features a standard 1.25 inch barrel with filter threads, solid metal construction, and protective caps, making them a dependable addition to any observing kit.
The TMB 40mm Super Plossl
The 40mm TMB Super Plossl provides the lowest magnification in the range, producing bright, relaxed views that are well suited to large extended objects and longer focal length telescopes.
Eye relief is very generous, offering a comfortable viewing experience.
This focal length is particularly useful when a softer, lower power view is preferred or when maximising brightness for faint, diffuse targets.
