The Astrozap AZ-145 Flexi-Shield® is a flexible dew shield made specifically for the Vixen VC200L 8" Cassegrain, with a notch for the lower dovetail bar. It's the simplest way to keep the VC200L's corrector clear and contrast high on long imaging runs.
Designed for the VC200L
The Vixen VC200L is a favourite astrograph for its flat field and sharp stars, but its front optic is exposed to the sky like any Cassegrain. The Flexi-Shield passively delays dew formation and shields the optics from stray light, so more of your captured photons are signal, not glare.
