HIGH DEFINITION
The HD optical system in SLC binoculars produces an extremely high-contrast image with natural colors and razor-sharp outlines. These binoculars enable you to make out crucial details even better.
LARGE FIELD OF VIEW
A large field of view is the absolute key to success in a quickly changing viewing situation, as it allows you to identify important details even better at the edge of the field of view, and also to see better in poor light conditions.
ERGONOMIC PRODUCT DESIGN
Greater viewing comfort and a secure grip mean that observation can be comfortable and, above all, relaxed. This also prevents any feeling of fatigue when observing for long periods.
RUGGED MATERIALS
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE THE SLC BINOCULARS FOR YOUR WHOLE LIFE.
This can only be achieved because their surfaces, optics, and mechanics stand out thanks to their maximum possible ruggedness, resilience, and durability.

If you are already using a computer in your observatory for other reasons, this provides a way for you to focus your telescope without fumbling around in the dark for the focuser handcontroller. It works best with 5V focus motors such as the newer style JMI Motofocus, but can also work with 9V or 12V motors. Motors requiring up to 100mA of current will work with the FCUSB. To date, the FCUSB has been tested with the JMI Motofocus, Moonlite DC motorized focusers, Orion AccuFocus, Meade 1209, Televue Focusmate Driver, and WalterLee heliFocus. The FCUSB also eliminates the need for a battery to run your focuser, since the motor is now powered directly from the USB port of your computer. Using the free FocusPal software, you can control the speed and direction of your motor with just mouse clicks! For further information, please read through the FCUSB User Manual Third-party software that supports the ASCOM Focuser standard will also work with the FCUSB using the FCUSB ASCOM driver. DC focus motors don't provide absolute positioning repeatability like a stepper motor does, but we have tried the FCUSB with third-party autofocusing software and obtained decent results.

The SkyWatcher AZ-EQ6 Counterweight has a 25.4mm (1") bore and is 5kgs in weight.
Finished in white powder coat. Has a Tri Star Knob locking screw for easy positioning at any point along your existing counterweight shaft.
Nylon tipped locking screw will not mark your counterweight shaft.
The SkyWatcher AZ-EQ6 Counterweight will allow you to get perfect balance of the RA axis.
Balancing your scope is essential for proper operation of your mount.
Minimises stress on your drive motors
How to Balance your Scopes RA Axis
Start with your scope in polar position. Lock Declination axis.
Rotate the RA Axis so that the counterweight shaft is horizontal.
Support the weight of the OTA whilst sliding counterweights along the shaft until it counterbalances the OTA.
Lock off the counterweights.
At this point you should be able to rotate the RA axis with the clutch undone and the scope will stay where you leave it.
For correct Declination balance, you may need to move the tube forward or backwards in the rings.
If further balancing is required in Declination we suggest the Losmandy DVWS system

The Shoestring USB Guide Port Interface adapter plugs directly into a USB port on your computer or a USB hub attached to your computer. Using an RJ-12 cable, the adapter connects to the guide port of your telescope mount. This guide port interface uses optocouplers to electrically isolate the computer from the telescope, eliminating a possible source of electrical interference. This interface adapter requires no external power source since it receives its power via the USB cable.
Thanks to webcam technology, it is now easy and much less expensive to set up your own autoguiding system. You'll need a PC or laptop computer, a webcam or other video device, autoguiding software, and some sort of interface so that the computer can talk to your telescope mount and direct it's motion. Of course, you will also need a telescope mount that is capable of receiving tracking correction commands. To use our products shown below, your mount will need an ST-4 compatible guide port.

Lens Pen Hurricane Blower
After purchasing an optical component, exercising proper care in cleaning is important to maintain its quality and extend its usable lifetime. Using the correct product and method of cleaning are as important as actually cleaning the optics themselves.
Poor cleaning practices can damage polished surfaces or specialized coatings that have been used on optics such as lenses, mirrors and filters thus degrading performance.
A good hurricane blower is a must have in any cleaning kit. It will deliver a high volume burst of air and remove much of the dust on your delicate optics without actually touching the glass or its coatings.
Should always be used first when cleaning any optic to remove any dust particle prior to cleaning.
The LensPEN Hurricane blower has the following features:
- Perfect for cleaning dust off lenses, filters, CCD sensors and SLR mirrors.
- Powerful blasts of air clean safely.
- High quality non-toxic rubber bulb.
- Resistant to high and low temperatures and tear proof.
- Double-valve design prevents breathing in dust and refills quickly.
- Eyepieces Fogging up at night, give them a shot of air to clear them up.

The Skywatcher NEQ6 Equatorial Mount has a well earned reputation as an affordable and capable GoTo mount for both visual and photographic use. Now Skywatcher has developed the enhanced, more versatile AZ-EQ6 GoTo Mount. This new mount promises to become a favourite among intermediate to experienced observers and astrophotographers. This three-in-one smart mount not only operates in equatorial GoTo mode holding one telescope, but also in Altazimuth GoTo & Tracking mode while holding one or even two different telescopes. Control the Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 via the included SynScan hand controller, or robotically with your PC/laptop, or even wirelessly from your iOS mobile device with Orion's StarSeek software and Wi-Fi module (sold separately).
In addition to the dual Altaz and EQ modes, the AZ-EQ6 boasts some other key enhancements, including a smooth and robust latitude adjustment for accurate polar alignment.
New RA and Dec clutches afford positive locking for heavy loads plus a thicker retractable counterweight shaft - 1" in diameter - and a thread-on shaft extension carry multiple counterweights with no chance of flexure.
The newly engineered equatorial head is lighter than the NEQ6, but will carry a 20kg telescope payload with ease. In Altazimuth GoTo & Tracking mode with two different telescopes, each side can hold up to a 9kg telescope. The mount comes standard with an upgraded belt-driven stepper motor drive system that can locate over 42,000 celestial objects of interest with pointing accuracy of 5 arc-minutes and tracking precision of 0.1436 arc-second steps.
The drive has closed-loop electronics, with two sets of encoders per axis, meaning that once it is aligned you can manually move the attached telescope to a new target (or accidentally bump into the telescope) and the mount will still know where it's pointing in the sky! What's more, after an inadvertent or intentional nudge, this smart mount can return to its last target or pinpoint any new target you select without requiring realignment.
This is a highly transportable, yet seriously heavy-duty mount; the mount and tripod weigh in at 23kg. (without counterweights) and the mount can be uncoupled from the tripod with a single hand knob. Loaded with great features, the Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 GoTo Mount has a secure, threaded power input jack; a built-in autoguider port for accurate astrophotographic use; and offers 9 different slew speeds (up to 4.2° per second). This performance-packed mount also features Permanent Periodic Error Correction (PPEC).
The Skywatcher AZ-EQ6's dual-width dovetail saddle accommodates both narrow (Vixen-style) and wide (Losmandy-style) dovetail attachment plates. Along with its sturdy steel-legged tripod, the mount also includes a second dovetail saddle for dual-telescope Altazimuth operations, illuminated polar axis scope with adjustable brightness, two 5.1kg counterweights, RS-232 communication cable, and 12-volt DC power cable with a secure threaded connector.
Whether you're seeking a reliable mount for astrophotography or just looking for an amazingly accurate GoTo platform for visual pursuits, let Skywatchers AZ-EQ6 shoulder the weighty responsibility for smooth, stable, and smart performance!

CELESTRON’S BEST OPTICS
What makes the view through a CPC Deluxe HD unforgettable? It all starts with the newest EdgeHD optical system. This unique design corrects for both coma and field curvature, providing aberration-free images and pinpoint stars across the largest imaging sensors and all the way to the edge of the widest eyepieces
Read more about how EdgeHD outperforms competing optical systems by downloading the EdgeHD whitepaper.
All EdgeHD systems include Celestron's StarBright XLT coatings on all optical surfaces for brighter images and increased light transmission. Plus, every EdgeHD optical tube is Fastar compatible. Simply remove the secondary mirror and attach a third party lens assembly and you’re ready to image the night sky at ultra-fast f/2.
ULTIMATE VERSATILITY
Customers and reviewers have hailed the CPC Deluxe an all-around top performer, equally well suited to a star party or a university astronomy course. The beefy dual fork arm mount anchors the telescope for ultra-precise tracking, but weighs just 29 kg and includes rugged carrying handles to make setup quick and easy.
As soon as you turn on your CPC Deluxe HD, you’ll be guided through a simple SkyAlign procedure. The telescope walks you through centering any three bright objects in the eyepiece. From there, it’s ready to locate and track more than 40,000 celestial objects.
To customize your experience under the stars, CPC Deluxe HD is compatible with all of Celestron’s latest accessories. Add StarSense AutoAlign and your CPC will align itself in under 3 minutes. Or add the SkyPortal WiFi Module and control your telescope using a smartphone or tablet.
With this much versatility, the CPC Deluxe HD is a telescope that will serve you well for years to come, no matter what you choose to do with the hobby—including astroimaging.
BUILT WITH IMAGING IN MIND
Most altazimuth telescopes are designed primarily for visual use, but not the CPC Deluxe HD. It offers all the same high-end features you’ll find Celestron's German equatorial mounts. Out of the box, your CPC Deluxe can track accurately for up to 30 seconds without adding a wedge, thanks to a re-engineered drive train with a 6-inch brass gear, stainless steel worm gear, and both steel and nylon ball bearings.
If you’ll be doing longer exposure astrophotography, adding the HD Pro Wedge turns this telescope into an astroimager’s dream setup. With a wedge, you can take advantage of the All Star Polar Alignment procedure, which has you polar aligned in just minutes. You can also train your mount to be even more accurate with Permanently Programmable Periodic Error Correction. Finally, your CPC tracks smoothly through the meridian without doing a meridian flip, enabling you to capture objects in the best part of the night sky.

The Power of GPS GoTo Technology
Celestron's CPC 925 GPS combines the flexibility of Schmidt-Cassegrain optics with Global Positioning System navigation. The result is a powerful instrument for the serious stargazer. Automated Goto takes the telescope directly to your object of interest without the need for navigational expertise. You'll be sure to enjoy the incredible accuracy of satellite GPS alignment.
The CPC series makes alignment simpler than ever and adds some additional features that you will certainly appreciate. Best of all is the new SkyAlign™ system, which doesn't even require your scope to be pointed north and level. Simply aim the scope sequentially at any three bright objects in the sky. That's all there is to alignment!
After aligning the NexStar database filters out objects below the horizon from the hand controller's 40,000-item database thereby simplifying your hunting to celestial targets that can currently be observed.
Celestron's StarBright XLT coatings are now standard on the Celestron CPC 925 GPS telescope. These coatings dramatically increase total light transmission through the optics by a measrable 43%! Light loss through inferior coatings can have a particularly detrimental effect on the brightness and contrast of deep space objects. StarBright XLT coatings minimises this effect and brings the faintest things your scope can resolve into greater detail.

To most accurately test and collimate telescopes, reflectors, catadioptric, and refractors, you must perform a star test. However, to do so, you need a star.
Sadly, a real star is not always available due to poor weather conditions or location.
Even when a star is available, you will need a good tracking system for doing star test as the star is always moving.
Also air turbulence may affect your test, and the real star may not even reveal the true quality of your telescopes or give you a perfect collimation.
However, an artificial star is an excellent alternative to do the star test. With an artificial star, star tests can be accurately conducted anytime and anywhere.
However, the problem with the artificial star is that you need many different sizes of artificial stars for different telescopes of different apertures with different focal ratios, and even for the same telescopes but at different distances, and under different lighting environments.
The Binocular and Telescope Shop
With the Hubble 5 Star Artificial Star you can collimate your telescope no matter what aperture or focal ratio.
Bright LED light shines through 5 precision pinholes (50/100/150/200/250 microns).
Comes with Magnetic Mask to block out pinholes not being used.
Collimate indoors.
Star Test indoors.
