Let the optics settle outdoors.
Allow the mirror to approach the outside temperature before judging a high-power view. A large temperature change or larger optics can require longer.

Saxon
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
The Saxon 5 Inch Compact Collapsible Dobsonian is a short focal length reflector for learning the sky. Its tabletop mount and retractable tube suit observers who want a compact manual telescope and have a stable surface to support it.
The mirror gathers light from the target. The Moon and planets are useful starting points; fainter nebulae and galaxies benefit from darker skies, and the detail visible changes with conditions.
The supplied 25 mm eyepiece gives 26×; the 10 mm gives 65×. Start at the lower power to locate and centre an object before trying a closer view.
Move the telescope up, down and around to aim it, then nudge it gently to follow a target as it drifts through the eyepiece.
The compact tube retracts between sessions, while the tabletop base supports manual movement up, down and around. Use a firm table or similarly stable platform at a comfortable viewing height. The telescope comes pre-assembled, with the included eyepieces packed separately. The red-dot finder provides an aiming reference.

Allow the mirror to approach the outside temperature before judging a high-power view. A large temperature change or larger optics can require longer.
A Newtonian reflector uses aligned mirrors. Checking collimation helps keep detail sharp, particularly after transport.
Never aim an unfiltered telescope or finder at the Sun. Looking through either can cause permanent eye damage.
For new telescopes purchased from an authorised dealer, Saxon covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Exclusions apply, including damage, misuse and normal wear.
Keep your proof of purchase and follow the warranty-card claim instructions. Saxon warranty terms and claim instructions.
