Manualaiming
Follow the sky by hand.
Move the telescope up, down and around to aim it, then nudge it gently to follow a target as it drifts through the eyepiece.
Point, centre and follow the target.
The tube pivots up and down while the base turns left and right. Adjust the tension handle so the tube stays where you aim it and still moves when nudged. The full-length tube keeps the structure straightforward, but needs space in storage and transport. The 6x30 optical finder gives a separate aiming view to help locate a target. Turn the rack-and-pinion focuser knob to sharpen the view.
