You will need a small, dedicated Solar Telescope or small telescope with suitable Solar Filters attached.

Take the Sky-Watcher HelioFind outside on a sunny day, switch it on and it will automatically locate and point towards the Sun and then track it throughout the rest nest of the day. You don't need to align it or carry out any more adjustments

Ideal for observing sunspots, planetary transits, transits of the International or Chinese Space Stations, and solar eclipses with a white light solar filter. Or, attach an H-Alpha solar filter and observe the surface detail of the Sun directly along with tracking the daily changes in stormy prominences, filaments, plages, and even solar flares and coronal mass ejections.
