ZWO
ZWO ASI2600MM Air Mono Smart Camera
$3,999.00
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
APS-C monochrome imaging with guiding and ASIAIR built in
The ASI2600MM Air combines a cooled Sony IMX571 monochrome camera, an SC2210 guide sensor and ASIAIR control in one body.
Frame a deep-sky field
The main sensor captures 6248 × 4176 at a 3.76 µm pixel pitch with native 16-bit conversion.
Guide while you image
The SC2210 guide sensor uses 4 µm pixels and has a published peak QE of 92%.
Store exposures in the camera
ZWO supports external USB storage up to 1 TB. The built-in dual-band Wi-Fi connects the camera to the ASIAIR app.
Set the rig up around ASIAIR
From the ASIAIR app you can control image capture, guiding, a supported mount and an electronic focuser. ZWO lists wireless PC control through ASIStudio and support for ASCOM Alpaca.

What the Air needs from the rest of the rig
Main sensor and guide sensor performance

Full well
The charge a pixel can hold before saturating. The expanded-mode point is around 73,000 electrons, and capacity falls as gain rises. The vertical scale is logarithmic.

Conversion gain
The electrons represented by one digital count. The value falls as gain rises, so each count represents less charge.

Dynamic range
The gap between the noise floor and saturation. The curve rises again at gain 100, then trends down as gain increases.

Read noise
The noise introduced when the sensor is read. At gain 100, high conversion gain reduces it from about 3 e⁻ to about 1.4 e⁻ RMS.

Main-sensor quantum efficiency
The percentage of incident photons detected by the monochrome imaging sensor. ZWO’s curve peaks a little over 90% in the blue and falls toward the near infrared.

Guide-sensor quantum efficiency
The separate SC2210 guide sensor peaks around 500 nm at about 92%, then responds less strongly at longer wavelengths.
