ZWO
ZWO ASI2600MC DUO CMOS Camera
$2,899.00
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
Image and guide with one camera
The ASI2600MC Duo places an APS-C Sony IMX571 colour imaging sensor and a separate SC2210 guide sensor in the same cooled camera body.
One-shot colour capture
The APS-C sensor uses 3.76 µm pixels and native 16-bit conversion.
Guiding in the same body
The separate guide sensor uses 4 µm pixels and is rated at 92% peak QE.
A setting for brighter signal
The standard capacity is 50 ke⁻. ZWO specifies 73 ke⁻ in extended full-well mode at gain −25.
Fewer connections at the telescope
One USB cable controls both sensors. The integrated guide sensor removes the need for a separate off-axis guider and guide camera in the Duo setup.

Sensor curves and setup diagrams

Full well
The charge a pixel can hold before saturation. The low-gain end includes the expanded mode marked around 73,000 electrons.

Conversion gain
The electrons represented by one digital count. The conversion factor falls with gain, most steeply at the lower settings.

Dynamic range
The span between the noise floor and saturation. The range recovers to roughly 13.5 stops at gain 100, then declines.

Read noise
Noise introduced when the sensor is read. High conversion gain is marked at 100. The noise steps down from about 3.1 to 1.3 electrons RMS.

Relative spectral response
The main sensor’s three colour channels peak at different visible wavelengths. This plot covers the imaging sensor.

Dark current versus temperature
Dark current rises with sensor temperature. ZWO marks around 0.00012 electrons per pixel per second at −20 °C.
