ZWO
ZWO ASI2600MM Pro Cooled DUO CMOS Camera
$3,699.00
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
APS-C monochrome capture and guiding in one body
The ASI2600MM Duo combines a cooled Sony IMX571 monochrome imaging sensor with a separate SC2210 guide sensor.
Capture the main field
The monochrome sensor has 3.76 µm pixels and a native 16-bit ADC.
Guide through the same optical train
The guide sensor uses 4 µm pixels and is rated at 92% peak QE.
Choose headroom for brighter signal
The standard full well is 50 ke⁻. ZWO specifies up to 73 ke⁻ in extended mode at gain −25.
Guide without adding an off-axis guider
One USB cable controls both sensors. The integrated guide sensor shares the telescope’s optical path with the imaging sensor. The camera also has a window heater and two-stage cooling.

Sensor curves and setup diagrams

Full well
The charge a pixel can hold before saturating. ZWO marks the expanded full well at about 73,000 electrons. The vertical scale is logarithmic.

Conversion gain
The electrons represented by one digital count. The value decreases as gain rises, with the steepest change at the low-gain end.

Dynamic range
The gap between the noise floor and saturation. It rises back to roughly 13.5 stops at gain 100, then falls as gain increases.

Read noise
The noise introduced when the sensor is read. High conversion gain engages at 100, where the plotted value drops from about 3.1 e⁻ to 1.3 e⁻ RMS.

Main-sensor quantum efficiency
The percentage of incident photons detected by the monochrome imaging sensor. The curve peaks just above 90% in the blue before declining toward the near infrared.

Dark current versus temperature
Charge that accumulates even with no light. ZWO measured about 0.00012 electrons per pixel per second at −20 °C. The vertical scale is logarithmic.
