ZWO
ZWO ASI676MC Colour Camera
$649.00
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
A square colour sensor for the whole sky
The ASI676MC pairs a square Sony IMX676 colour sensor with a compact body for meteor recording, wide-angle sky monitoring and detailed lunar imaging.
Plan a square field
The 7.1 × 7.1 mm format suits wide-angle and fisheye lenses and simplifies the orientation of mosaic panels.
Sample lunar detail
The 12 MP sensor captures a square field at the same pixel scale on both axes.
Record fast sequences
USB 3.0 and the 256 MB DDR3 buffer support the data stream.
A colour-specific protective window
The ASI676MC has a UV/IR-cut protective window. High conversion gain switches on at gain 180, where ZWO reports read noise as low as 0.56 e⁻ and dynamic range near 11 stops.

Sensor curves and setup diagrams

Full well
The charge a pixel can hold before saturation. The curve starts at about 10,500 electrons and falls as gain rises.

Conversion gain
The electrons represented by one digital count. ZWO marks the point near one electron per count at gain 82.

Dynamic range
The span between the noise floor and saturation. The plotted range rises back to nearly 11 stops at gain 180 and then falls.

Read noise
Noise introduced when the sensor is read. At gain 180 the plot drops from about 1.6 to below 1 electron RMS.

Relative spectral response
The relative colour traces peak at different visible wavelengths and draw closer together in the near infrared.

Protective window transmission
The colour camera’s UV/IR-cut window passes most of the visible band. Transmission drops sharply at the edges, near 400 and 700 nm.
