Astronomik SII 6nm CCD Filter

Capture SII nebulae. Half the stars. Twice the contrast.

A 6nm bandpass at 671.7nm and 673nm isolates ionised sulphur (SII) emission with 93% typical transmission. Sharper narrowband astrophotography images from light-polluted skies, without compromise.

Spectral performance

6nm, centred on SII. Nothing else gets through.

The transmission curve confirms what the specs describe. The 6nm window is precisely centred on the SII doublet at 671.7nm and 673.0nm. H-alpha, at 656nm, is fully excluded. Everything from UV to IR outside the passband is blocked.
