The Fujinon Mariner 7x50 WP-XL combines a wide view with a waterproof body and long eye relief for boating and coastal observation.
7x magnification brings distant detail closer, while 50 mm objectives gather light. The 7.5° field spans 131 m at 1,000 m, giving you room to scan the shoreline.
The polycarbonate body is sealed and filled with nitrogen. Water resistance is rated to 1 m for 5 minutes, but the binoculars are not intended for underwater use.
18 mm eye relief helps you see the field while wearing glasses. Fold the rubber eyecups down when viewing with glasses.
Individual focus lets you adjust each eyepiece to your eyesight. Readjust each side as the viewing distance changes. Minimum focus is 12.3 m and varies with eyesight.
The WP-XL is the non-compass Mariner and needs no batteries. The WPC-XL is the separate compass-equipped model.
Supplied with objective lens caps, an eyepiece rainguard and a flotation neck strap.
Looking at the Sun through binoculars can cause blindness. Read the Fujinon Mariner instruction manual before use.
Source: Fujifilm WP-XL specifications. Checked September 2026. Width is measured with the binoculars expanded.
