Double stacking provides a truly enhanced, high definition view of the Sun’s surface details. Notably, it lowers the bandpass of the system from <0.65 Angstroms to <0.45 Angstroms. This will significantly make the surface features on the Sun "pop"!
The Lunt 130 mm and 152 mm telescopes can be internally double-stacked at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. Furthermore, neither telescope module will need to be returned to the factory for double-stacking.
You can purchase the 130 mm or 152 mm single stack telescope initially and add the LFPT to make it a double stack unit later. This will make it more affordable to purchase our a new universal telescope and still have room for upgrades. Once you upgrade your Lunt Universal Telescope with the double stack unit, you will be able to see the finer details not previously visible.
