Lunt LS50C Front Mount 50mm Double Stack Upgrade for LS50
$2,290.00
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
The Lunt LS50C Front Mount 50mm Double Stack represents a significant upgrade for LS50 users seeking enhanced solar observation capabilities. This precision optical system delivers exceptional H-alpha contrast and detail, revealing intricate chromospheric features with remarkable clarity. The double stack configuration dramatically reduces bandwidth, enabling observation of fine prominences, filaments, and surface details that single-stack systems simply cannot resolve. Built to Lunt's exacting standards, this front-mounted design integrates seamlessly with your existing LS50 setup, providing professional-grade performance for serious solar astronomers and experienced observers.
Because the LS50C Solar Filter has an estimated bandpass of <0.70 Angstrom it is capable of providing high contrast views of both surface and edge detail. Significantly, adding an additional etalon system (double-stacking) will reduce the bandpass to ~<0.50. Allowing for higher resolution viewing and/or imaging.
The LS50C is easy to install, simply Screw it on to the front of your 50mm Lunt solar scope, and you are ready to observe the Sun in far greater contrast than before.
Note: Only compatible with the 50mm Lunt Solar Telescope
