Motor kit, not a controller

The motor moves the SCT focus shaft. A separate controller tells it where to go.

Without

The SCT focus knob stays manual

The telescope gains a zero-backlash motor drive

  • Ready for a supported Pegasus controller

A compatible motor controller is required separately. The kit is not a standalone USB focuser.

The bracket keeps the motor clear of the imaging train.

The 280 g assembly uses a telescope-specific pulley and belt. The motor, bracket, fixing hardware and 1 m RJ45 cable are included; the controller is separate.

This kit contains the motor and mechanical installation parts. It must be driven by a supported controller.

Choose the pulley for the telescope

The 6/8/9.25, 11 and 14 groups use different pulley and screw packages.

Check older SCT focusers

Some older series may not accept the bracket. Confirm the focus-knob arrangement before ordering.
