For observation of faint nebulae and star clusters in a wide and bright field of view
The 130mm aperture Newtonian reflector with excellent light gathering power is ideal for observation of faint nebulae and star clusters, particularly for beginners who wish to start astronomical life with a large aperture excellent in light gathering power. It is equipped with a motor for tracking.
AP-SM Equatorial mount

The Advanced Polaris (AP) mount is ideal for beginners learning to use an equatorial mount, as well as experienced observers looking for a simple, grab-and-go setup. It securely supports your telescope's optical tube, providing a stable and comfortable observing experience. Thanks to its friction control system, the mount can be quickly and smoothly moved to your target object. A wide range of optional accessories is available to customize the AP mount to suit your observing needs..
R.A. Motor module and STAR BOOK ONE Set

The AP-SM equatorial mount comes equipped with the RA motor module and the STAR BOOK ONE set, which includes the main motor for celestial tracking and the STAR BOOK ONE controller. This set forms the core of the AP mount system. You can customize and expand your setup by adding additional modules to the RA motor module and STAR BOOK ONE base.
Stylish design
The new stylish and compact design helps break the stereotype of astronomical telescopes being bulky and difficult to use. Weighing just 3.6 kg (excluding the counterweight), the mount is lightweight and easy to handle—even with full-scale astronomical telescopes. The power supply, using four AA batteries, is built into the body, and the use of internal electrical contacts eliminates the need for external wiring that was previously exposed.
Friction control system

Simply point the target objects by moving the optical tube by hands. The friction control system allows you to manually point the telescope at the object without using knobs and clamps.
Simple polar alignment

The optional polar meter can be attached on the equatorial mount for simple polar alignment. Even beginners can quickly align polar axis. For precision alignment, the polar axis scope is usually used, but the polar meter can outperforms especially where Polaris is not visible.
Polar alignment scope PF-L

The PF-L polar alignment scope features a three-star alignment system and a built-in dark field illuminator, allowing you to perform polar alignment while looking directly through the scope. The illumination automatically turns off to conserve power.
To complement the PF-L, we provide a free app called "PFL Assist" for smartphones and tablets. This app supports polar alignment by visually indicating the correct star positions within the displayed constellation.
Power supply system focusing on mobility and comfort
The motor module operates with 4 pieces of the AA batteries which are commercially available anywhere easily, not only corresponding to the alkaline battery but also economical rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH, Ni-Cd). For long term use, a commercially available USB external power supply such as USB mobile battery or USB AC adapter can be used connecting to the provided USB Micro-B terminal.
R130Sf Newton reflector

The 130mm aperture newton reflector which is excellent in light gathering power is ideal for observation of faint nebulae and star clusters in a wide and bright field of view.
APP-TL130 tripod

The compact APP-TL130 tripod is adjustable from 60 cm to 130 cm, combining the portability of a photographic tripod with the strength of an astronomical telescope tripod. The tripod’s feet can be switched between rubber pads and metal spikes, preventing damage to floors when used indoors.
