Whether you're a bird watcher, sports fan or just like being out enjoying nature the Vixen ATREA II H14x42WP Binoculars serve up sharp, clear, AND stable views without the shakiness that often comes with higher power binoculars.

Built-in image stabilization

Binoculars are handy to travel with and an ideal way to look at the world around us. One problem is that as you increase the magnification to bring things closer to you, any vibrations or hand shakes and movements are also magnified. This means you'll have to concentrate on holding your binoculars steady rather than just enjoying the view.

The Vixen ATREA II H14x42WP Binoculars solve the problem with image shakes with a 2-axis gimbal control image stabilization mechanism. This enables them to effectively compensate image shifts of +/- 3 degrees at vibration correction angle (with all directions) and offers a stable field of view of the binoculars. Even micro-vibrations are controlled successfully, and you will be able to enjoy observing a glow in a bird’s eyes and a look of bird feathers in detail.

Great for Astronomy too!

At night you'll be able to spot fainter stars and astro objects that are hard to see in ordinary binoculars due to the image stabilization feature.

Two image-stabilization modes - moving objects and distance viewing

The binoculars come equipped with two anti-vibration modes that can be selected to suit your needs:

  • V1 Mode: Absorbs small vibrations and jitters. (This mode is preferable to use when you want to look at a moving object.)
  • V2 Mode: Absorbs large vibrations moved slowly. (This mode is preferable to use when you want to appreciate a stationary object.)

Multi-coated optics throughout

Each of the lens surfaces is coated with multilayers of anti-reflection coatings. The prisms are phase coated to reduce halation and enhance resolution. In addition, high reflection coatings are applied. These three types of optical coatings eliminate stray light and loss of light thoroughly to achieve an extremely bright and clear field of view.

12 Hour battery life with standard AAA batteries

Two AAA batteries are used for the power source. AAA batteries are available at any Coles, Woolies, 7-11 stores or servos everywhere. This means you can travel with the ATERA II H14x42WP to a local event or take them with you on a trip across the country knowing you'll always be able to find fresh batteries.

Waterproof

The ATERA II H14x42WP binoculars have IPX4 waterproof rating and this means they can be used in a wet environment with no worries about moisture causing damage.
