The Bintel ND96 13% Neutral Density filters reduce the glare by only partially transmitting (only 13%) of the reflected light uniformly across the entire spectrum. Not only will you see more surface features, but you can study them in greater comfort. These filters also reduce irradiation, which is the distortion at the boundary between light and dark areas, such as along the lunar terminator. Screws directly into the eyepiece barrel.
The Moon’s disk, even at partial phases, is intensely bright with reflected sunlight. The glare washes out most of the craters, rilles, and other surface details from view, particularly in telescopes of 6 inch aperture and larger.
With standard filter threads (M25.5 x 0.6) it can be screwed into almost any 1.25" eyepiece, 1.25" diagonal or can be stacked with other coloured filters to enhance lunar and planetary detail.
The ND96 filter may also be employed in the splitting of close double stars where one of the binary pair significantly exceeds the other in brightness.
Comes in plastic case for clean, safe keeping.

Like its little brother, the Telrad Dew Shield, the Telrad Dew Shield plus is made from lightweight plastic and attaches directly to your Telrad Reflex Finder with no additional modifications. The shield is held in place with two plastic tensioning screws connected to its frame that align to the existing screws on the finder body. You can then adjust the amount of force it takes to open and close the protective hood. When not in use, simply flip the Telrad 2025 Plus back and you have an unobstructed view!
While the Telrad Dew Shield Plus won't completely stop dew, it will great increase the amount of time you are able to use the viewing screen during dew point conditions and extends the life of your Telrad Finder's reticule by shielding it from harmful moisture. The construction of the hood also helps to keep the built-in mirror out of harms way! What could be easier or more clever?!
* Simple installation and easy to use!
* Adjustable tension control.
* Internal right angle mirror flips away for straight-thru viewing.
* One year Telrad warranty.

The Swarovski CSO cleaning set optics allows a thorough and gentle cleaning of all optical lenses. The set consists of a lens cleaner, a cleaning brush, a dust blower and two microfiber cloths in different sizes - all practically packed in a high-quality bag.
The set is particularly durable, so you can easily wash the microfiber cloths and the bag in the washing machine (40°C/100°F). Refill the glass bottle with the lens cleaner (fluid) at selected retailers. Besides, we are largely avoiding the use of plastics and are going for alternative materials such as bamboo or glass instead.
Protect what you love - When you regularly clean the lenses, your device will keep its optical brilliance for a lifetime.

Tele Vue 4x Powermate T-Ring Adapter
TeleVue's 4x Powermate T-Ring adapter allows you to unscrew the standard eyepiece fitting of your powermate. With the T-ring adapter installed you have a secure and much more compact connection between your camera and 4x Powermate. It also guarantees perfect camera sensor alignment, a very important consideration when imaging with such high amplification.
Imaging the Solar System with Powermates™
Some of the finest Solar System images have been made with Powermates™. Used singly or stacked, Powermates™ help any scope achieve the long focal-length required to image details on Solar System bodies. The increased image scale allows for imaging without an intervening eyepiece. Powermate T-Ring Adapters fit on the Powermate lens assemblies to allow attachment of your camera's T-Ring or other T-threaded imaging accessory.
Powermate Magnification Chart for Imagers
The above chart indicates the magnification for each Powermate™ as a function of distance from the Powermate™ top surface to the imaging surface. Using the 4x Powermate T-Ring adapter will produce a magnification factor right on the nominated 4x amplification intended.

The Astronomik UHC is THE filter for visual observing.
You will enjoy using your Astronomik UHC filter because you will see more stars and more details in deep-sky-objects compared to using filters from all other manufacturers.
The Astronomik UHC (Ultra High Contrast) filter allows the transmission of nearly 100% of the radiation from both O-III and the H beta lines. Though the second window for the H-alpha-line is not intended for visual observing, it is important, if the filter is used with an electronic device. All annoying, scattered light from other wavelength sources, including local artificial light pollution, is reliably filtered out. With this strong blocking of the sky background an unexpected wealth of detail becomes visible for gas nebulae and planetary nebulae.
Main use
Astronomik UHC filters’ astounding high light transmission brings better views of deep-sky-objects even to small telescopes! The high transmission of our optical glass filters means that enough light is available to allow successful visual observations with telescopes beginning at 2" (50mm) aperture. Our Astronomik filters are optimized for use with telescope focal length f / ratios of f/4 to f/15. Transmission losses and chromatic distortions, which arise with other filters, only occur with Astronomik filters when extremely bright aperture ratios of 1:2 and more come into play. Another major advantage of our Astronomik UHC filter is the high optical quality of the filter glass. When using Astronomik UHC filters you will quickly notice the same needle-sharp stars which you are familiar with from your astronomical instrument without any filter!
Suitability
- Visual observation (dark skies): Very good, for telescopes of all apertures and high exit pupil
- Visual observation (urban skies): Very good, for telescops from 100 mm aperture
- Film photography: Reasonable, but very long exposure time
- CCD photography: Good, when used with an additional IR-block-filter
- DSLR photography (original): Good, colour balance shifted but contrast enhanced
- DSLR photography (astro modified): Very good, colour balance is near perfect
- DSLR photography (MC modified): Good, when used with an additional IR-block-filter
- Webcam / Video (Planets): Unsuitable
- Webcam / Video (Deep Sky): Good, if light pollution is a big problem
Technical Data
- typ. 95% transmission at 486nm (H-beta)
- typ. 95% transmission at 496nm (OIII)
- typ. 95% transmission at 501nm (OIII)
- typ. 95% transmission at 656nm (H alpha)

The faster the focal ratio of your telescope, the greater your visual reward for using Tele Vue eyepieces. Tele Vue Plössls feature full multicoatings for greatest light transmission and contrast.
Blackened lens edges and internal anti-reflection threads tweak the last bit of contrast for maximum image detail. The sharper field focuses faint star light into perceptible points and allows those with undriven mounts to gaze longer before repositioning the image.
The 25mm, 20mm, 15mm, 11mm and 8mm Plössls round out the focal lengths for various observing from deep sky to planetary. They work best with Tele Vue Barlows or Powermates to effectively double the number of focal lengths in your collection.
Far superior to eyepieces usually provided as standard with most instruments.
Review
This is a very good medium power eyepiece for lunar observing, resolving globular clusters, picking up detail in the more compact emission and reflection nebulas, etc.
This 15mm focal length is a very good in between power eyepiece, filling the gap between the 25mm eyepiece that comes standard with most scopes and a high power eyepiece.
It has 10mm eye relief . Like all TeleVue Plossls it has filter threads to fit your filters and blackened lens edges as well as being parfocal.

The Celestron Dew Heater Ring is the ideal dew prevention solution for your Celestron telescope. This must-have accessory will improve your observing or imaging nights year-round. The Dew Heater Ring permanently mounts to your 8" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD, and RASA optical tube, replacing your retaining ring, so you'll never be caught without it. The installation process is quick and easy (follow the manual for instructions).
How it works
The Dew Heater Ring replaces the plastic retaining ring on your Schmidt corrector lens for efficient heating across the lens. The ring is constructed of lightweight, durable aluminum. Its rigid frame supports the cable circuity and the telescope's Schmidt corrector lens. Unlike other heating bands or strips that inefficiently heat the lens cell to warm the glass, the Celestron Dew Heater Ring heats the corrector glass directly, providing the most efficient transfer of heat to prevent dew formation.
Simply plug the ring into an external 12V DC power source for consistent, continuous heat that will prevent dew from forming even under heavy dew conditions. The Dew Heater Ring features two storage clips to keep the power and thermistor jacks secure when not in use while accommodating the telescope's dust cover.
The Dew Heater Ring also comes with a cable management clip that connects to the telescope's front cell. Corral the power and thermistor jack to prevent them from dangling and reduce unwanted pulls on the cable connection to the rings.
The Dew Heater Ring comes complete with:
- Dew Heater Ring
- Cable management clip
- Power jack extension cable
- Paper installation shield
Enhance your setup
To achieve the highest level of dew prevention while maximizing power efficiency, we strongly recommend pairing the Dew Heater Ring with a Smart DewHeater Controller (sold separately). The controller uses the ring's built-in thermistor and its internal environmental sensor to provide just the right amount of heat to the corrector to prevent dew based upon the ambient temperature, ambient humidity, and temperature of the Schmidt corrector, which can dramatically reduce the ring’s power draw, greatly increasing battery life. The ring also includes an extension cable for connecting the ring directly to one of the controllers’ heater output ports, or to a third-party controller’s heater output port. (Note: the ring’s integrated thermistor is only compatible with the Celestron Smart DewHeater Controllers).
We also recommend adding a dew shield to your setup. While not mandatory, a shield will cut down on the amount of power the Dew Heater Ring needs to keep the optics clear.

It is absolutely safe since you don't look through Sol Searcher, you look at it.
The aperture acts as a "pinhole" which projects an image of the Sun on to the 1/4" translucent "screen."
This screen can be viewed from either side.
Simply move your scope until the Sun's image is centered on the screen and the Sun will be in the eyepiece's field of view.
The Sol Searcher attaches to the mount ring slot of every TeleVue telescope (or to the rear cell slot in the TeleVue Ranger).
For use with telescopes other than TeleVue, mount the Sol-Searcher using #10-32 screws, or if necessary, attach with Velcro (not supplied).
