Losmandy DM14 Dovetail Plate

The Dovetail Plates are the heart of the Losmandy Secondary System. 0.5" x 4.0" x length of the tube assembly.

Dovetail plates may be mounted to the top and bottom of tube assembly for mounting of all D series accessories, making it possible to use both sides of tube for equipment.

The dovetail plates, like all accessories in the Losmandy line, are machined for lightness and rigidity from aluminium stock, then black anodized for a tough, corrosion free surface.

Orion narrow dovetail plate (Vixen Style) is made of extruded, black anodized aluminum. With several holes and two long slots, this versatile plate is ideal for mounting telescope and guide scope tube rings, cameras, finder scopes, and other accessories.

Near the center of the plate are two counterbored through holes and two M6x1 threaded holes. Two long slots are also counterbored underneath so that the heads of standard socket head cap screws are recessed under the bottom surface of the plate.

Both the through holes and slots can accommodate 1/4"-20 socket head cap screws and some smaller sizes. The slots make it easy to accommodate the needed spacing between two tube rings for different telescope and guide scope configurations.

Two holes on each end of the plate have M6x1 threads also.

With the Orion narrow dovetail plate, you'll have a secure connection and perfect placement ? no matter what tube you're using to explore the universe!

Tele Vue Adapter Vixen/Tele Vue
Allows telescopes with Tele Vue Ring Mounts or Tube Rings to be swapped between Tele Vue mounts and mounts with Vixen-style dovetail channels (used on Vixen Sphinx, GP and PORTA series mounts) without removal of the adapter. Also attaches to Coronado PST and Solarmax 40 telescopes.

Losmandy DMM14 Dovetail Plate (formally know as Losmandy DMM)

Losmandy DMM Dovetails allow you to mount secondary accessories to you mount. Originally are designed for use with the DSBS (now DVSBS) so you could mount accessories on one side whilst having a scope on the other side.

Precision machined D Style dovetails on either side it can fit into any mount that has a D style saddle.

The dovetail plates, like all accessories in the Losmandy line, are machined for lightness and rigidity from aluminium stock, then black anodized for a tough, corrosion free surface.

The Losmandy VCB11 curved block set is necessary if you wish to mount the Losmandy #VSCT17 dovetail bar to Celestron 11” scopes and OTA's.

One of the blocks mounts on the rear cell and is fixed with two socket head machine screws (supplied) in the holes spaced 1.75" apart. The hole in the middle should be threaded on this block.

The second block is mounted through the dovetail bar into the front cell , again using the socket head machine screwed (supplied). The centre hole in this block is larger and not threaded.

Made of machined aluminium and anodised black for long life. Comes complete with stainless hardware .

This V-Style Dove tail bar is designed for DSLR cameras to  attach your DSLR to a dedicated telescope mount.

Attach the dovetail bar to the DSLR camera body using the supplied 1/4” or 3/8" inch screws.

Like all tripods or camera mounting systems, do not over-tighten the screw to avoid possible damage to the camera body.

Vixen's Industry Standard attachment system

The Universal Dovetail Plate slips into any mount with dovetail attachment. Use to attach your telescope with Vixen Tube Rings or third party rings with 1/4"-20 threaded holes. The DMM is a 7" adapter plate that mates to any of the Losmandy DUP dovetail plates to create a male-to-male dovetail.
