Kowa Prominar XD Lenses
Kowa's XD Lenses (eXtra-low) dispersion glass with similar characteristics to fluorite crystal) combines with a special dispersion concave lens to reduce a very high percentage of chromatic aberration for the ultimate viewing experience.
Schmidt-Pechan Roof Prism Lens and C3 Coating
Kowa's roof prism binoculars use a Schmidt-Pechan prism. With the SFL 30 ZEISS now offers compact high-performance binoculars in the practical design of pocket binoculars that, thanks to their light weight, do not add to the load, even on longer excursions. With a field of view of up to 120 meters at a distance of 1,000 meters and a closest focusing distance of 1.5 meters, the SFL 10x30 deliver a perfect overview combined with precise detail recognition. The lens diameter has been reduced by 2 mm, making it possible to use thinner lens elements at closer spacing and thus reduce the binoculars' weight by up to 23% and their length by up to 21% compared to the ZEISS Victory SF models. As a result, the SFL binoculars are up to 30% lighter than comparable products from competitors.
Experience nature in all its splendor
The Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) concept features a special coating and an improved optical design that ensures the binoculars deliver the highest level of detail and reproduce colors with natural fidelity. This makes it possible to precisely identify the smallest features in the plumage and reliably distinguish between species.
90% Light Transmission
Featuring 90% light transmission and ZEISS T* multicoating, you can clearly and precisely recognize details in the twilight, ensuring that you capture every moment, even in darker environments.
Comfortable viewing experience
The perfect ergonomics of the ZEISS SFL models enable quick and easy positioning of the eye and also provide comfortable and immersive viewing due to the large exit pupil. In addition, the improved eyecups provide an even better ergonomic feel and a smooth transition between the touch points, which are precisely defined and can be reached perfectly.
ZEISS T* Coating
ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast imagesÂÂ which you will experience above all in adverse light conditions and in the twilight. Behind it, however, there is no specific formula for building up the layers. Instead, it is a technology that is constantly adjusted to suit new glass materials and requirements, which varies from lens to lens.

ZEISS Binocular Comfort Carrying Strap
The comfort carrying strap from Zeiss Binocular Harness ensures that your binoculars are always exactly where you need them: around your neck and on your chest. Its special features include easy, practical fixation of the binoculars and outstanding wearing comfort. Compared to simple carrying straps, the new strap from ZEISS allows you to carry your binoculars in total comfort. It is made of high-quality materials and feels pleasant on your skin.
The high-quality workmanship prevents neck strain and distributes the weight of the binoculars over your upper body. The binoculars remain steady and do not swing in various directions when you are moving about.
The Zeiss Binocular Harness length can be adjusted to meet the need of a wide range of applications. The binoculars are connected by feeding a strap through the brace eyelet. This type of connection is particularly quiet and prevents damage to the binoculars. Quick-release fasteners allow you to attach and detach the carrying strap extremely fast. For added convenience: the ends remaining on the binoculars can be connected to form a strap, allowing you to hold the binoculars more securely, also when you are not carrying them around your neck.
Fits all major binoculars.

Raptors are popular and iconic birds, and are important ecologically, with some species listed as threatened. Yet they are among the most difficult birds to identify. This fully updated third edition of the popular and award-winning field guide Birds of Prey of Australia contains two sections: a field guide with distribution maps, detailed illustrations and information on identification; and a handbook which includes an overview of the current knowledge about raptors, including their biology, ecology and behaviour. An illustrated section on difficult-to-distinguish species pairs is also included, along with new photographs.
- Updated edition of this popular and award-winning field guide
- 'Bible' of raptor identification, providing current knowledge on the ecology and biology of these species
- New and improved photos
- Companion to the recently released Australian Birds of Prey in Flight, which aids identification of soaring raptors
Stephen Debus has studied or observed all 24 of Australia’s resident raptor species during the past 40 years, almost half of them intensively and some over many years. Awarded BirdLife Australia’s D.L. Serventy Medal for ornithological publication, his many works include the definitive field guide to this difficult group of birds.
For a true "space walk" experience of the Australian night sky, combine a pair of these Vixen SG 2.1X42 Astronomical Viewing Binoculars and dark Moonless evening away from city or suburban light and they'll will produce a night you'll always remember!
The ultra-wide 2.1x magnification will "zoom you in" just enough to see finer details, while the 42mm diameter lenses will show you faint stars, clusters and the intricate swirls and details of the gas and dust in our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
These binoculars come with a sturdy nylon mesh carry pouch and the level of quality and attention to detail you'd expect from being made in Japan -
Made in Saitama (Vixen's home town!)
It is a product of "Made in Saitama" which carries out everything from lens polishing, metal working to assembly until inside Saitama Prefecture. Vixen Corporation (Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture) manages the entire manufacturing process, and Optomiyauchi (Saitama prefecture's Yorii Town), which has a proven track record in manufacturing anti-astringent binoculars, is in charge of parts, metal processing and assembly.

Note:
External power supplies are needed for all ASl-cooled cameras. We recommend you use a 12V@3A~5A DC adapter (D5.5×2.1mm, center pole positive) or a lithium battery with 11-14V to power the camera. You can also use ASIAlR to power the cameras. Be aware that using a power supply out of this voltage range will probably lead to irreparable damage to the camera.
One Camera for All
The STARVIS 2 technology brings ASI585MC Pro more advanced imaging performance compared to other cooled cameras. Its high frame rate makes it not only suitable for DSO photography but also solar/lunar/planetary photography.

STARVIS 2
STARVIS 2 was developed by SONY and evolved from STARVIS. It is the latest technology with a wider dynamic range and super-high sensitivity beyond the human eye. Benefiting from it, ASI585MC Pro’s sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio is greatly improved.
Large Full Well Capacity
The back-illuminated structure improves the camera’s full well capacity. Even with unbinned 2.9μm pixels, ASI585MC Pro has a full well capacity of 40ke-, nearly 3 times that of the last-generation sensor IMX485. A larger full well capacity gets the camera higher efficiency in collecting light, can effectively restrain the highlight area from being overexposed, and also can improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
Zero Amp Glow
ASI585MC Pro exhibits extremely clean dark frames with zero amp glow! No matter how long the exposure and how high the gain value is, you can easily get clean and smooth astro images!
Note: This feature is implemented directly at the hardware level, it does not require software control.
512MB DDR3
ASI585MC Pro uses a USB 3.0 interface, along with the built-in 512MB DDR3 cache, ensuring high-speed, smooth, and stable data transmission.
USB 3.0 Port & USB 2.0 HUB
USB 3.0 Port: Provides 5Gb bandwidth to allow ASI585MC Pro to run at 47fps at 8.29MP full resolution (10bit, high-speed mode).
USB 2.0 HUB: Can be used to connect various kinds of USB devices such as EFW, guide camera, and EAF.
Two-stage TEC Cooling
Thanks to the two-stage TEC cooling, ASI585MC Pro can lower the CMOS sensor temperature to more than 35 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature, which can greatly reduce dark current generation and sensor noise even during extended exposure times.
*The Delta T 35℃ is tested at 30℃ ambient temperature. It might get down when the cooling system is working for a long time. Also, as the ambient temperature falls, the Delta T would decrease.
Below is the dark current curve of ASI585MC Pro at the temperature from -20℃ to 30℃.
Camera Performance
Low read noise, High dynamic range
The camera has a built-in HCG mode, which can effectively reduce read noise at high gain and allow the camera to maintain the same high dynamic range as it does at low gain. When the gain reaches 252, the HCG mode will be automatically turned on and the dynamic range reaches a level close to 11bit. The read noise in this case can be as low as 0.9e. QE (Quantum efficiency)
Based on our testing results, the QE peak value of ASI585MC Pro is 91%. Connection Methods (Back Focus Distance: 55mm)
