Hubble UL12 – 12" Lightweight Reflector Telescope
Hubble UP12 – An Ultra-Portable 12" Dobsonian Telescope
The Hubble UP12 is a premium 12-inch Dobsonian designed for observers who want serious optical performance in an exceptionally compact and travel-friendly form. Weighing just 14.5 kg) fully assembled, the UP12 delivers true large-aperture performance in a package that can be transported, stored, and deployed with ease.
Once disassembled, the UP12 can be packed into airline-approved luggage, making it one of the most portable 12-inch telescopes available. This is a genuine “take anywhere” instrument for dark-sky trips, remote expeditions, and observers who value performance without bulk.
Light, Compact and Truly Portable
The UP12 is less than half the weight of a traditional 12-inch Dobsonian. Its modular construction allows the entire system to be assembled in just a few minutes, with no heavy components and no complex setup.
All major structural elements are made from precision-machined aluminium alloy, providing excellent rigidity while keeping weight to an absolute minimum. The result is a telescope that feels effortless to transport, yet remains mechanically stable at high magnifications.
Optical Performance
The UP12 uses a premium parabolic primary mirror, individually tested and finished to achieve diffraction-limited performance (Strehl 0.95+). The secondary mirror is specified to 1/10 wave or better, delivering high contrast and sharp stellar images across the field.
Both mirrors receive 96% enhanced reflective coatings, maximising light throughput and reducing scatter. From a dark sky site, the UP12 is capable of revealing most NGC objects, subtle structure in bright nebulae, fine planetary detail on Jupiter and Saturn, and even challenging targets such as the Horsehead Nebula when used with appropriate filters.
A Perfect Balance of Power and Portability
The UP12 gathers around 44% more light than a 10-inch telescope, yet remains dramatically smaller and lighter than traditional 12-inch designs. Its full 12-inch optical surface (with a generous 12.4-inch overall diameter) provides slightly more true light-gathering area than many mass-produced 12-inch mirrors.
This balance makes the UP12 a telescope that actually gets used. It is large enough to deliver meaningful deep-sky performance, yet portable enough to be taken out frequently without hesitation.

Hubble UL14g – 14" Lightweight Reflector Telescope
The Hubble UL14g is a premium 14-inch Dobsonian telescope designed for serious visual observers who want substantial aperture in a system that remains genuinely portable. Combining advanced mirror technology with precision-machined construction, the UL14g delivers impressive deep-sky and planetary performance in a compact, travel-friendly design.
Optical Performance
At the heart of the UL14g is a full 14-inch parabolic primary mirror featuring Hubble’s exclusive Sandwich Mirror Technology. This lightweight yet rigid design achieves diffraction-limited performance (Strehl 0.95+) while reaching thermal equilibrium up to ten times faster than traditional solid mirrors. Faster cooldown means reduced mirror seeing and sharper, more stable views shortly after setup.
Both primary and secondary mirrors feature 96% enhanced reflective coatings, maximising light throughput and contrast while minimising scatter. This results in brighter galaxies, improved nebular structure, and high-contrast planetary detail even at high magnifications.
Engineered for Precision
The UL14g uses a real mirror box and precision flotation mirror support system to evenly distribute load across the primary mirror, minimising deformation and preserving optical accuracy across the sky. The structure is built from CNC-machined aluminium components with a steel mirror cell, providing excellent rigidity while remaining exceptionally lightweight.
Eight rigid truss tubes ensure stable collimation, while the large altitude bearings provide smooth and predictable motion during tracking.
Smooth, Accurate Focusing
The UL14g is equipped with a 2-inch dual-speed Crayford focuser with linear bearings, delivering smooth, backlash-free focusing. Fine focus control makes it easy to achieve critical focus at high power and supports heavy wide-field eyepieces without flex or slippage.
Big Aperture, Exceptional Portability
Despite its 14-inch aperture, the UL14g is remarkably easy to transport and set up. The modular truss-tube design breaks down into compact components that can be assembled in just a few minutes without tools. The heaviest single component is the primary mirror, weighing around 7 kg, making solo transport realistic for most observers.
With its fast f/4.6 focal ratio, the eyepiece height remains accessible at all times — just 60 inches at zenith — allowing comfortable observing with both feet on the ground.
Unmatched Observing Potential
The UL14g collects approximately 36% more light than a 12-inch telescope and nearly double that of a 10-inch, allowing significantly fainter objects and finer details to be resolved. From dense globular clusters to delicate dust lanes in distant galaxies, the UL14g reveals a level of structure that smaller instruments simply cannot match.
From dark-sky sites, most NGC objects are within reach. Bright emission nebulae show subtle hints of colour, planetary nebulae display internal structure, and Jupiter reveals fine banding and atmospheric detail. With an H-beta filter, even challenging targets like the Horsehead Nebula become achievable under good conditions.
The UL14g strikes a rare balance between serious aperture and true portability, making it a telescope that gets used often, not one that stays in storage.

Hubble UL24 – A Lightweight 24" Dobsonian Telescope
The Hubble UL24 is a made-to-order 24-inch Dobsonian telescope, designed for experienced observers who want truly extreme aperture without sacrificing transportability.
With a huge 24-inch primary mirror, the UL24 delivers around nine times the light grasp of an 8-inch telescope and four times that of a 12-inch, revealing ultra-faint galaxies, subtle nebular structure, and fine detail in planetary nebulae that smaller instruments simply cannot reach.
Light, Strong, and Surprisingly Portable
The UL24 features a precision-machined all-metal construction with eight rigid aluminium truss tubes and an extremely strong folding altitude bearing structure. Despite its massive aperture, the complete telescope weighs only around 70 kg, making it dramatically lighter than traditional 24-inch Dobsonians.
A real mirror box protects the primary mirror during transport, while the modular design allows the telescope to be broken down into manageable components for storage and travel. The heaviest single component is the primary mirror at around 30 kg, allowing one person to realistically transport the system to dark-sky locations.
Optical Performance
At the heart of the UL24 is a premium parabolic primary mirror with a full 24-inch optical surface and an overall diameter of 24.4 inches. This provides around 4% more true optical area than many other 24-inch designs that use undersized optical surfaces.
Each mirror is individually tested and finished to achieve diffraction-limited performance, with a Strehl ratio of 0.95+ for the primary and 1/10 wave or better for the secondary. Both mirrors receive 96% enhanced reflective coatings, maximising light throughput and contrast while reducing scatter.
The fast f/3.3 focal ratio keeps the eyepiece height to just 1955 mm at zenith, allowing most observers to use the telescope without a ladder while still enjoying extreme aperture.
Choose Your Telescope Control
The UL24 can be customised to suit your observing style. You can use it fully manually, or opt for Guided Push-To or Automatic Go-To systems.
Manual Mode
Even without electronics, the UL24 remains a highly refined Dobsonian with smooth, stable motion and precise balance. Manual observing delivers the classic deep-sky experience at a scale few observers ever reach.
Guided Push-To Version
The Guided Push-To version uses the SkyHub2 digital setting circle system, providing accurate real-time positioning without motorised tracking. High-resolution encoders on both axes feed live position data into compatible planetarium software.
Alignment is quick and intuitive using one- or two-star alignment. The system works with SkySafari, Stellarium, Cartes du Ciel, TheSky, and other ASCOM-compatible software on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.
Power consumption is extremely low, allowing up to 100 hours of operation from a standard USB power bank. Both WiFi and Bluetooth are supported.
Automatic Go-To Version
The Go-To version adds fully motorised pointing and tracking for hands-free observing. A smart hand controller with a 30,000-object database supports multi-star alignment for highly accurate pointing.
Built-in encoders and a real-time clock maintain accurate sidereal, lunar, and solar tracking. The system can be controlled via WiFi or Bluetooth using SkySafari, Stellarium, or ASCOM/INDI-compatible software on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.
Adjustable slew and guide speeds, spiral search, and park/unpark functionality ensure smooth, precise operation during long observing sessions.

Hubble UL32 – 32" Lightweight Reflector Telescope
The Hubble UL32sg is a flagship 32-inch Dobsonian telescope designed for serious deep-sky observers, research-grade visual work, and advanced EAA applications. With a massive 32-inch primary mirror, the UL32sg delivers 16 times the light grasp of an 8-inch telescope and four times that of a 16-inch, revealing galaxies, nebulae, and fine structure at a level few instruments on Earth can match.
Despite its extraordinary aperture, the UL32sg is engineered to remain as compact and transportable as possible for its class. Fully assembled, the telescope weighs around 150 kg and features a modular, all-metal construction with sectional truss tubes and a folding altitude bearing structure. A real mirror box provides safe protection for the primary mirror during transport and storage.
Light, Strong, Compact and Still Portable
The UL32sg is built using precision-machined aluminium alloy components, extensively modelled with CAD and FEA to optimise structural rigidity while minimising weight. Eight rigid sectional truss tubes ensure excellent stiffness and collimation stability, even at extreme elevations.
While the UL32sg is not a casual backyard instrument, it remains one of the most compact and practical 32-inch class telescopes available, capable of being transported and assembled by a small team for dark-sky expeditions, observatories, and research installations.
Revolutionary Smart Go-To System
The UL32sg is supplied exclusively in a Smart Go-To configuration, built around the state-of-the-art OnStep control system. This advanced platform combines fully motorised Go-To, high-resolution encoders, and a revolutionary plate-solving smart finder for unmatched pointing accuracy.
Using the system is simple: select a target via the smart hand controller or third-party software such as SkySafari or Stellarium, then with a single button press the telescope captures an image, plate-solves its position, and automatically refines its pointing until the target is perfectly centred.
The system supports automated star alignment, automated “Star Shows” such as Messier Marathons, intelligent routing to reduce slewing time by 30–50%, and full EAA live stacking for electronically assisted observing.
Connectivity includes built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, INDI and ASCOM drivers, real-time clock, spiral search, park/unpark, and full sidereal, lunar, and solar tracking rates. Control is available via smart hand controller, desktop software, or mobile apps on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
Exclusive Sandwich Mirror Technology
The UL32sg uses a lightweight sandwich primary mirror designed to reach thermal equilibrium far faster than traditional solid mirrors. Rapid cooling dramatically reduces mirror seeing and internal turbulence, allowing the telescope to achieve its full optical potential much sooner in real-world conditions.
Unlike thick solid mirrors that may never stabilise during changing temperatures, the sandwich design delivers sharp, stable images without the need for active cooling systems, avoiding vibration and mechanical complexity.
Enhanced Optical Coatings
Both primary and secondary mirrors receive 96% enhanced dielectric coatings with multiple precision-controlled layers. These coatings maximise reflectivity, reduce scatter, and provide excellent chemical and mechanical durability, delivering bright, high-contrast images even at extreme magnifications.
Real Mirror Cell in a Real Mirror Box
The UL32sg features a fully engineered 27-point flotation mirror cell with sling and 90-degree pivoting lateral supports. This system prevents mirror deformation and eliminates astigmatism commonly caused by simpler collimation designs.
The independent three-point rod-end collimation system allows precise adjustment without stressing the mirror edge, maintaining optical integrity under all observing orientations.
Dual-Speed 2" Linear Bearing Crayford Focuser
The UL32sg is fitted with a precision 2-inch dual-speed linear bearing Crayford focuser, capable of handling heavy modern eyepieces and imaging equipment. The fine focus control provides ten times finer adjustment for critical focusing at high power or during EAA use, with approximately 50 mm of travel.
