The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscopes are entry models of Nikon Fieldscopes and successors of the Spotting Scope RA III series. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main bodies are about 20% lighter than the current RA III spotting scopes.

The Nikon PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope 60-A represents the basic models of Nikon 's Fieldscope series of monoculars and the successor to the RA III series. The bodies of the Fieldscope PROSTAFF 5 monoculars are 20% lighter than the currently used RA III monoculars. The new lens with eyepiece zoom minimizes color defects at the edge of the field of view and offers a large hanging exit pupil for comfortable observation. Three types of eyepiece lenses with digiscoping compatibility which connect to a wide variety of COOLPIX-series compact digital cameras, by using the FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket.

The Nikon SEP-20-60 Eyepiece for PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope offers exceptional detailed observation with its fully multilayer-coated lenses and adjustable 20-60x magnification. Compatible with all PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscopes, this eyepiece is ideal for those who wear eyeglasses, with its long eye relief design. Its bayonet mount with lock ensures easy attachment and release, and it is also water-resistant when attached to the Fieldscope body.
