The TMB Super Plossl Series

The TMB Super Plossl series is a clear upgrade over the basic eyepieces supplied with most telescopes, offering sharper images, better contrast, and improved build quality at an accessible price point.

Using a classic 4 element Plossl optical design and a 50 degree apparent field of view, these eyepieces deliver bright, well corrected views across the field. The TMB 40mm Super Plossl

The 40mm TMB Super Plossl provides the lowest magnification in the range, producing bright, relaxed views that are well suited to large extended objects and longer focal length telescopes.

Eye relief is very generous, offering a comfortable viewing experience.

This focal length is particularly useful when a softer, lower power view is preferred or when maximising brightness for faint, diffuse targets.

The Sky-Watcher 2-Inch NOMAD 4 4x Tele-Centric Focal Extender is a high-quality optical accessory with a variety of uses and connecting options for visual and imaging use.

VISUAL USE: Used as a Barlow Lens with an eyepiece for visual use, NOMAD 4 effectively multiplies the magnification of any eyepiece by five times, allowing for detailed observations of celestial objects such as the Moon and planetary surfaces. Constructed with premium high-index glass elements and multi coatings, it ensures minimal light loss and maximum clarity. Features a self-centering brass compression ring which avoids marring to eyepieces and a captive eyepiece retaining screw.

IMAGING USES: The premium 4-lens design provides images without colour difference as well as providing excellent field collimation. We offer secondary flat mirrors to match the complete telescope set request, our elliptic flat mirror has the same high optical quality of our parabolic primary mirrors. All mirrors have an enhance aluminum reflective coating, reflectivity is approximately 93%. The aluminum coating is protected by a properly applied protective coating (SiO2). Any custom made flat mirrors should be welcome!

The TMB 12mm Super Plossl
