The CL Companion Habicht 8x30 was created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of SWAROVSKI OPTIK. It combines the proven quality of the compact CL Companion with the design of the first binoculars from SWAROVSKI OPTIK, the Habicht. The 8x magnification brings the crucial details even closer to you.
CL Companion Habicht - the anniversary binoculars
75 years SWAROVSKI OPTIK: The CL Companion Habicht is our compact CL Companion with a unique design reminiscent of the first binoculars which we produced in series – the Habicht.
Limited anniversary edition
The CL Companion Habicht is limited to unique 1,000 pieces. Each individual pair f binoculars comes with its own certificate and is numbered by hand. This way you can be sure to get a unique one-of-a-kind.
The natural differences in the appearance of leather products can lead to slight variations. However, this is a quality feature and has no negative impact on the optical quality or durability of the binoculars.
Sustainably manufactured
The leather for the CL Companion Habicht comes from sustainable production in Europe and is vegetable tanned. Extracts from olive leaves are used for this gentle process. We also pay attention to sustainable regionality when it comes to accessories: The high-quality bag is made of cloth loden (sheep wool), which is produced in Germany, as well as Nappa leather and is lined with cotton.

CL Pocket 10x25
Wild Nature
Big on quality, small in size. A folding compact binocular that disappears into a jacket pocket, yet delivers the crystalline image you expect from Swarovski Optik.
Always ready for
the wonders of nature
Four reasons the CL Pocket is the compact binocular that goes everywhere — and performs like it shouldn't.
Pocket-Sized Design
Folds flat to fit in almost any pocket. Just 350g, ready for a jacket, a day pack, or a handbag.
Precision 10× Optics
10× magnification with 88% light transmission delivers sharp, high-contrast images at close range and distance.
2.5m Close Focus
Razor-sharp detail on butterflies, dragonflies and flowers just 2.5 metres away. A macro window on the natural world.
Made in Austria
Hand-assembled in Absam, Tirol. Waterproof to 4m depth, nitrogen-filled, built to outlast every trip.
Crystal-clear views,
from a pocket-sized instrument
Every lens surface is fully multi-coated with Swarovski's proprietary coatings. The result is an image with the bright, high-contrast character that defines Swarovski Optik — and 88% light transmission so that detail holds up well into last light.
A 5.6° true field of view shows you enough of the scene to locate birds quickly, then lets your 10× magnification resolve the plumage detail once you've framed the subject.
(98m at 1000m)
Folded flat,
always with you
The CL Pocket's dual-hinge bridge design folds the barrels in underneath, collapsing to a footprint that disappears into a coat pocket or day pack. The rubber-armoured aluminium chassis is balanced in the hand and steady at 10×.
The twin hinges also provide an unusually wide 48–74mm interpupillary range, so the same binocular fits children, adults, and every eye-spacing in between. Small enough that you'll actually bring it with you.
Pocketable in a jacket or day pack
A macro lens
for the natural world
Close focus down to 2.5 metres turns the CL Pocket into something more than a distance tool. Dragonflies resting on a reed. Butterflies working a garden. Spiders on a web. Fungi at the base of a tree.
It's the detail you'd normally need a macro camera to see — except here it's live, moving, and framed in your hands. For nature-curious travellers and birders who love the small stuff, close focus is transformative.
17mm of eye relief,
full view for every user
17mm eye relief with adjustable twist-up eyecups gives eyeglass and sunglasses wearers the full field of view — not a cropped ring like lesser compacts.
±5 dpt diopter adjustment lets you match the optic exactly to your eyes. Nitrogen-filled, pressure-tested, and waterproof to 4 metres — operate confidently from the snowline of the Alps to a summer garden in Queensland.
Nitrogen filled · sealed for life
Big on quality, small in size — a folding binocular that fits in the palm of your hand and delivers the image quality we expect from the Swarovski name.Swarovski Optik · Absam, Austria

The 10× is the detail-forward choice for birding and wildlife. The 8× has a wider field and brighter exit pupil for handheld stability and low light.

CL Pocket 8x25
Wild Nature
Big on quality, small in size. The 8× companion version of the CL Pocket, with a wider field and a brighter, steadier image — ready for the jacket pocket and the long day out.
Precision 8× Optics
8× magnification with a 3.1mm exit pupil and 88% light transmission — a brighter, steadier handheld image that holds detail into last light.
A generous 6.8° true field of view shows you 119m of scene at 1000m — roughly 20% wider than the 10×. That width makes it easier to locate moving birds, scan flocks, and track subjects through foliage at 8× magnification.
(119m at 1000m)
Folded flat,
always with you
The CL Pocket's dual-hinge bridge design folds the barrels in underneath, collapsing to a footprint that disappears into a coat pocket or day pack. The rubber-armoured aluminium chassis is balanced in the hand and the 8× magnification is exceptionally steady handheld — no tripod, no shake, just a clean, settled view.

CL Pocket 8x25 vs 10x25
Choosing between the two magnifications? Here's how the 8x25 and 10x25 compare — same chassis, different optical experience.

More detail. Compact by design.
The NL Pure 10×32 combines powerful 10× magnification with a compact 32mm objective. A 114-metre field of view, 92% light transmission, and edge-to-edge sharpness from a precision instrument handmade in Austria.
The world, exactly as it is. Every colour true, every edge sharp, from first light to last.
A 6.5° real field of view
At 114 metres per 1,000 metres — a 6.5° real field of view — the NL Pure 10×32 delivers compelling reach in a compact body. A bird at the tree line, a whale sounding offshore, an alpine ridge at first light: detail resolved at range.
Light the eye can use
SWAROBRIGHT HD multi-layer coating on every optical surface achieves 92% total light transmission. Not a headline figure — it is the difference between dawn detail and a grey silhouette, colour and nothing, a flush and a miss.
Edge-to-edge sharpness. Not just centre sharpness.
Swarovski Optik's patented FieldFlattener lenses correct field curvature across the entire image circle. The result is a flat, uniformly sharp field all the way to the edge — not just the centre sweet spot. When a bird crosses the frame, it stays in focus.
Full field view for spectacle wearers — no compromise to the optical experience.
Repels everything
Hydrophobic and oleophobic outer lens coating. Water beads off. Fingerprints wipe clean in one pass. Rain does not stop the session.
Nitrogen-purged and submersible to 4 metres. Safe in rain, spray, and accidental immersion.
Crafted at source
Every NL Pure is assembled by hand in Absam, Austria — home of Swarovski Optik since 1949.
The forehead rest. A genuinely new idea.
The NL Pure's forehead rest sits above the eyecups and lets you brace the binocular against your brow, significantly reducing hand tremor and fatigue during extended viewing. A small structural detail that changes every long session in the field. Patented by Swarovski Optik.
Go lighter. See more.
The NL Pure 10×32 is the binocular for the observer who wants world-class optics without the weight. 640g. Compact enough for a jacket pocket. Ready for every outing.
Focus as close as 2 metres. Every detail of a perched bird, an insect on a stem, or a wildflower in reach.
FSB functional bag
Ships with Swarovski Optik's FSB functional sidebag and UCS universal comfort strap — purpose-engineered for the field.
Every NL Pure carries Swarovski Optik's 30-year guarantee. An instrument for life.

10× reach. 32 mm compact. Nothing sacrificed in translation.

Natural ergonomic grip. Hours of use without fatigue.
Sharp at distance. Bright at dusk.
A 3.2 mm exit pupil with 92% SWAROVISION light transmission keeps the 10×32 brighter than competing compacts at the same magnification. At 640 g, it travels to places the 42 mm never goes.
Submersible to 4 m depth.
Nitrogen-purged to prevent fogging. Sealed to 4 metres. Weather is not a reason to leave the NL Pure at home.
Steady the view. Forget the binoculars.
The optional forehead rest lets you observe for hours without arm fatigue. Your hands hold steady, your attention stays on the bird. Combined with the wasp-waist grip, the NL Pure becomes an extension of your own vision.
The traveller’s argument for Austrian glass.
Phase-coated BaK-4 prisms, a machined focus wheel, and hand-assembled in Absam, Austria. The 10×32 brings everything the NL Pure name stands for to a body that fits in a day pack.
The travelling birder’s ideal binocular. Everything accounted for.
132 m field of view at 1,000 m with 10× magnification – a wider view than most rivals at the same power, in a body you barely notice.
SWAROVISION field flattener lenses deliver sharp, distortion-free images to the very edge of the view.
18 mm eye relief with seven eyecup positions. Full field of view with or without eyeglasses.
92% light transmission with a 3.2 mm exit pupil. Brighter than you’d expect from 10× in a 32 mm body.
Wasp-waist ergonomic housing sits naturally in the hand. Comfortable for extended observation sessions.
Compatible with the full FieldPro Pro accessory system: forehead rest, wide strap lug, tripod adapter.
Close focus of 2 m. High magnification, close range – the 10×32 handles both without a second glass.
Nitrogen-purged and waterproof to 4 m. Sealed against moisture, fog, and Australian field conditions.
Adapt to every situation.
The NL Pure is the foundation. The FieldPro Pro accessory system builds on it. Attach the forehead rest for hours of hands-free steady observation. Add the wide strap lug for a broader, more comfortable carry. Mount the tripod adapter for long-distance scanning in the field.
Swarovski NL Pure 10×32. Every number.

ONE WITH THE MOMENT
The NL Pure 10x42 are high-quality all-round binoculars that reveal their strengths particularly in rugged environments and are especially well suited to the Australian bush and outback. With 10x magnification, the binoculars identify many details even at long distances with a comparatively low weight. In combination with a 42 mm objective lens diameter, they strike the perfect balance of high magnification, large field of view, and detailed images. This combination makes the binoculars ideal companions for observing at twilight or on cloudy day.
See more in every situation – that’s the motto of the NL Pure 10x42. With their seemingly endless field of view without the distinctive black edge, these binoculars reveal many details – even at long distances. They give the observer the impressive sensation of being at the centre of the image. This makes the binoculars ideal for observing in mountain terrain. With an objective lens diameter of 42 mm, the binoculars are perfect for observing in low light at dawn or dusk. Higher magnification amplifies hand shake. The NL Pure 10×42 is designed to minimise it: the wasp-waist housing brings your hands to the optimal balance point, while the optional FieldPro forehead rest lets you brace against your brow for a genuinely steady image — even at 10× on a shaky clifftop.
The pinnacle 10×42. Considered in every detail.
From the machined focus wheel to the SWAROVISION field flattener lenses and phase-coated BaK-4 prisms, the NL Pure 10×42 represents decades of Austrian optical engineering at its most refined.
The pinnacle 10×42. Every reason to choose NL Pure.
133 m field of view at 1,000 m — the widest of any top-tier 10×42 binocular. Exceptional 10× reach, without the narrow-tunnel feeling of most high-magnification designs.
SWAROVISION field flattener lenses deliver sharp, distortion-free images to the very edge of the view.
18 mm eye relief with seven eyecup positions. Full field of view with or without eyeglasses.
92% light transmission and 4.2 mm exit pupil. Sharp, colour-accurate views at 10× from dawn chorus right into dusk.
Wasp-waist ergonomic housing sits naturally in the hand. Comfortable for extended observation sessions.
Compatible with the full FieldPro accessory system: forehead rest, wide strap lug, and tripod adapter — especially valuable at 10× for reducing hand shake.
Close focus of just 2 m for butterflies, wildflowers, and birds at arm’s reach.
Nitrogen-purged and waterproof to 4 m. Sealed against moisture, fog, and Australian field conditions.
Adapt to every situation.
The NL Pure 10×42 is the foundation. The FieldPro accessory system builds on it. Attach the forehead rest for steady, fatigue-free observation at high magnification. Add the wide strap lug for a more comfortable carry. Mount the tripod adapter for extended long-distance scanning — everything clicks in without tools.
