CELESTRON REDUCER/CORRECTOR F/6.3
This combination focal reducer and field corrector lens accessory works with all Celestron 5", 6", 8", 9 1/4", 11" and 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. This clever accessory makes it possible to have a dual focal ratio instrument, without sacrificing image quality. The Reducer/Corrector is f/6.3 for C5, C6, C8, C9¼ and C11 telescopes and f/7 for the C14 telescope.
If offers wide fields of view with any Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Used for astrophotography, it reduces exposure time by a factor of 3.
Celestron doesn’t offer a f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, because the design is impractical, with a large central obstruction, and resulting loss in contrast. This, added to the inability to utilize longer focal ratios for certain objects, led Celestron to design the four-element, fully multicoated f/6.3 Reducer/Corrector. Results are amazing both visually and photographically.
Produces a corrected field of 24mm diameter. The back focus is 105mm, from the reducer's back element to the camera's sensor
THE #94175 REDUCER/CORRECTOR LENS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CELESTRON EDGEHD or MEADE ACF OPTICAL SYSTEMS.
$849.00
EdgeHD reducers offer high index optical elements, including extra low dispersion, exotic Lanthanum elements, which provide high contrast viewing while minimizing chromatic aberration. All air to glass lens surfaces feature multiple layers of coating for maximum light transmission and color correction and contain blacken edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize image contrast.
Incorporating computer assisted CNC machined aluminum housing, for precise spacing and alignment of optical elements, and threaded metal covers on the lens assembly to protect your investment from dust and scratches, our reducers offer you an outstanding mechanical design.
With the Fastar option on all EdgeHD optical systems, coupled with the .7x reducer, your telescope becomes the most complete imaging system available in its price range today.

High quality, fast refractors have a lot going for them when it comes to astrophotography but they come with a downside - field curvature. This is where the image comes to sharp focus on a curved surface. The problem is that the sensors in cameras are flat. The larger the sensor - like those used in cameras with APS-C sized or larger sensors or DSLR cameras - the more effect is noticed.
A field flattener brings the image to focus on a flat surface, like your camera's sensor. At the same time, the basic optical performance of your telescope remains the same.
You will need 55mm of backfocus.
The Bintel T-thread Spacer Ring Kit (sold separately) is recommended to achieve proper distance for use with CMOS imagers.
Use with a DSLR only requires a T-ring for the camera (T-ring sold separately).

Some of the most picturesque celestial objects are too large to fit in the field of view of an imaging refractor and camera. What’s more, most objects in deep space are very faint and therefore challenging to image without taking very long exposures, increasing the potential for error. 0.8x Focal Reducer for Refractors addresses these obstacles by increasing your refractor telescope’s field of view while reducing the effective focal length by a factor of 0.8x, thereby providing a shorter, more optically “fast” focal ratio to increase astrophotography efficiency. Using the 0.8x focal reducer not only enables your refractor telescope to acquire a larger field of view, but also makes it capable of capturing bright, vividly detailed astrophotos.

OPTEC Lepus .62x Telecompressor is optimized for 100mm of distance between the last lens surface and the image plane. Measured from the telecompressor flange, this distance works out to 105mm. Assuming a native focal ratio of f/10, the Lepus 0.62X will reduce the effective focal ratio to approximately f/6.2. Shifting the image plane outward will provide additional reduction but a loss of star quality at the edge of the images. The optimal distance for most SCT's is 100mm with the exception of the C9.25 EdgeHD SCT.
Designed for Midsize CCD's and DSLR's
Standard Edition Lepus 0.62X telecompressor lens designed for use with any telescope having the TCF-S or other 2-inch focuser in place. Works well with Meade ACF f/10 and f/8 coma-free SCT telescopes. The Lepus 0.62X Standard Edition is housed in a 2-inch barrel-like assembly and will fit into any telescope receiver for standard 2-inch eyepieces.
The camera side connection for the Lepus 0.62X telecompressor is a broad dovetail known as the OPTEC-2100. The proper back-focus distance to the camera image plane is maintained with Optec's custom camera-specific Lepus mounts available separately below. The OPTEC-2100 interface also allows easy connection to the Pyxis 2" rotator in place of the standard 2-inch nosepiece. When connected to the camera, Lepus will appear as a long 2-inch nosepiece that fits into any 2-inch focuser or eyepiece receiver.
Special DSLR adapters are available from stock for Canon and Nikon cameras which hold and maintain the 100mm on-axis back-focus distance.
The Lepus can be used with other telescope designs but is not parfocal. Therefore, some re-focusing will be required. Performance is not guaranteed with all telescope optical designs and the Lepus is not recommended for use with Ritchey-Chretien telescopes.

A reducer has the optical property of decreasing the effective focal length of a telescope. This results in a wider-field and faster imaging time on nebulae and galaxies. Model NPR-2073 0.8x Reducer for NP Scopes is specifically designed to be used with the NP127is and NP101is. While it can also be used to enlarge the field of other Tele Vue Petzval type telescopes, it will not provide additional correction for those models.
This reducer was designed to minimize vignetting with camera sensors up to 43mm diagonal (Full Frame) and is a replacement for the previous 0.8x reducer, the NPR-1073, which worked best up to APS-C sensors. When combined with a Tele Vue Petzval type telescope, it reduces the focal length of the telescope by 20% and makes it that much faster. This increases the telescope's field of view by 25%.
For use on other Tele Vue Petzval model telescopes with 2-inch focusers, use the RAD-1074 Imaging System Nosepiece for 2" Focuser instead of the I.S. Imaging Adapter. Note that when used with 2" focusers there will be increased vignetting for full frame sensors because of the inner diameter of the 2-inch barrel.
This reducer requires the Imaging System insert to attach to the drawtube and Imaging System rings to attach to your accessories and camera.
SKU: NPR-2073

Tele Vue BIG Paracorr - Type 2 (3inch)
Tele Vue's 3" BIG Paracorr Type-2, designed by Paul Dellechiaie, extends the Paracorr type 2's optical benefits for imaging applications by amateurs and professionals using CCD formats as large as 52mm diagonal and paraboloids as fast as f/3. Back focal length has been extended to 80mm to allow for additional accessories to be placed in the optical path. The 5.1" length optical assembly is topped with a "stop" flange having 3.40"-24 pitch threads to mount camera adapters and spacer tubes (available later).
Paracorr Eats Coma
Paracorr can be used with both 2" and 1¼" eyepieces. For visual use, slip Paracorr Type-2 into your focuser like a Barlow lens, and your eyepiece into Paracorr. (3" BIG Paracorr Type-2 requires adapter and tunable top for visual use). 1¼" eyepieces will make use of Paracorr's special low profile 1¼" reducing adapter. Paracorr is threaded for 2" filters.
